Poor Service, Noisy Stay, and Uncomfortable Room – Will Not Return
Upon check-in, we went to our room to find a large permanent red stain on the floor. Wanting to avoid being charged, I called the front desk to report it. Instead of simply noting it, they made me come to the lobby, wait for maintenance to inspect it (who even said, “I don’t know why they put you in this room”), and then wait again for keys to a new room. I had explained we could stay if we weren’t blamed for the stain, but if moved, we needed a quiet room as it was a Monday evening and we had very important early morning work meetings.
The new room reeked of air freshener so strongly we dropped our bags and had to leave until it dissipated. Despite my request for a quiet location, we were placed beside a large family with multiple rooms both beside and across the hall, who slammed doors, ran in halls, and continued to make noise until 3 a.m and well beyond me calling the front desk staff at 1a.m to report the ongoing disturbance and pleading for them to do something to make it stop.
Additional issues:
Only 3 towels in the bathroom for a 4-person reservation.
Thermostat wouldn’t go below 18°C and the room stayed uncomfortably warm all night.
No compensation—staff said to “take it up with Expedia.”
If you want to deal with stains, sweat all night, and be kept awake by constant hallway noise, this is the place for you.
