Upon arrival and checking in the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Arriving at the room ,which is very spacious, with all the necessary. Turning on the TV was a problem and the toilet seat had come adrift. Going back to report this ,it was actioned promptly. Flat batteries in remote and incorrect. Toilet seat secured but landed up coming off again. Need to change style of seat. Curtains require reclipping into hooks so that they can be opened and closed. Seafood restaurant only open Friday/Saturday which was disappointing as we were looking forward to having this for dinner. Not highlighted on website. Bar area has a good atmosphere but should get rid of broken stools and not be left to the side. Distracts from what could be an even better part of the hotel

The room was clean and in good condition. Things are starting to get a bit dated. VERY LIMITED number of staff are working at any one time. The one poor lady (who checked us in) appeared to have to be doing nearly everything throughout the hotel. Our room had 2 x double/queen size beds and had enough towels etc, but the kitchenette, didn't have any cuttlery in it, had 1 cup, and 2 different sized glass tumblers, 3 x plates and 3 x bowls - not exactly set up for 4 x adults!! There was a note that if we needed anything to go to the restaurant to get it. Also to use a microwave, we would have to walk all throught the hotel to get to the restaurant to heat anything up to eat in our room. Obviously to "save" money, if we wanted to order anything from the restaurant, we had to go to a tablet style device, scroll through the various menu items, which contained very little information of the dishes and pay remotely... without seeing/nor speaking with anyone in the restaurant. Not exactly a warming experience - hence we decided NOT to eat dinner or breakfast there, but rather find alternatives elsewhere.

The bed sheets looked like they had been from the last guest - not clean - we DID NOT Stay.. !! and recommend that Wotif take this property off their website as it is not doing wotif good credit - shamefully this property could be up-kept and be very good if managed accordingly . Let me know if they want to sell.!! Photo's look good the property upkeep and cleanliness appalling

On arrival, I was told that my booking had been cancelled due to "room issues", when i showed my confirmation i was told, sorry, sorry, room cancelled, no more booking. I was told i could get a cash refund on the spot or i could call WOTIF and try to get another booking somewhere else. Only problem is that i had travelled hours with 2 small children and it was storming. I took the cash and of course struggled to get a booking somewhere else and of course paid double the price of my original booking. Beyond angry, rude staff, very unprofessional.

We prepaid our booking and arrived well within the arrival window and there was no room for us. They had sold our room to someone else. The manager was abrupt and did not care that our family had nowhere to stay that evening.

Outside the room, walkways, grass, pool, undercover parking the whole outside of building was in very poor condition and in need of repairs and maintenance. Dirty, unkept, needs a tidy and cleanup. Otherwise was a good room but outside let the stay down.

Blood stains on bed sheets, burn hole in Bed covers, black pubic hair on bed sheet, dirty windows, unhygenic tea bags as they had no packaging on them. Front desk lady was eating food while talking to me, I could see the food in her mouth, it was gross, the restaurant was dirty, the sauce bottles had crusty old sauce all dried around the lid. The hall way had patch up holes in the walls. There were dirty laundry bags left in the hall way. The life was filthy, the lift doors looked like they have never been cleaned.

We booked this accommodation through Wotif for 5 people, but on arrival were told there was no room large enough for our booking. Reception advised a manager would call to resolve the issue, but no one ever followed up. We were ultimately placed in a room with only two beds, with no cot or alternative provided, meaning we had to squash in. The entire place is extremely disorganised. The young staff on reception and in the bar were clearly undertrained and unsupported. This isn’t a criticism of them personally — management has failed to provide adequate training. The bar area was messy, with empty drinks left around. The beer tasted awful and had to be refunded and replaced. When we tried to order dinner, we waited over 40 minutes, then followed up and were told it would be another 30+ minutes. By then it was 8pm and we had young children with us. Again, the staff member taking orders appeared overwhelmed and inexperienced. We also witnessed another family turned away around 7pm because their booked three-bedroom accommodation was not available — clearly not an isolated issue. The only positive was that the room itself was clean. Overall, this stay was exactly as bad as the reviews suggested. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone, especially families. Management seriously needs to improve booking management and staff training.

The hotel is looking very tired and needs an update badly.There were no coffee, tea or sugar satchets in the room. No milk or cups.no phone in room to contact reception so had to go down and get some. Tables not cleared in cafe at breakfast for quite some time. I get the impression that they are well understaffed but those I dealt with were very friendly and helpful.
