A spacious, comfy and well designed garden and house with a knock out view in a perfect location.
We had a lot of fun at Blue Gum Retreat. We relaxed, read, listened to music, slept well and had fun together at the house and the surrounding area. We ate at home alot because of the fantastic views of the valley and mountains and outside furniture. Lawn games were fun on the lawn like bocce or Kubb. We also cooled off at the nearby Never Never Creek or a surf at at Hungry Head, a bush walk, or the awesome shops and cafes at Bellingen. We will be back!

Glorious
Can't fault it. The location is spectacular, beds super-comfortable with beautifully laundered white bed linen , the kitchen well furnished with everything you could possibly imagine, and there's space to get away from people if you felt the need (we didn't !). The outdoor furniture was also lovely and comfortable and endless hours were spent looking out at the magnificent view. There was a power outage (nothing to do with the property) and Alison was quick to respond with instructions on what to do. I loved it - what more can I say

Outstanding House with a amazing view
This place is one of the nicest VRBO homes we have stayed at. It sits on a large piece of land away from everyone. My grandsons loved riding their bikes up and down the mowed hills. The inside of the home is large and interior is mostly wood. Nice kitchen with all the extras. Great beds - fireplace, wood stove, and so much more. Kids have plenty to do there too. Super internet (Starlink) I can't say enough good about this place and if I come back to Australia would book it again.

Beautiful view
A great house with four very comfy beds/bedrooms, stunning wood features and beautiful floors…. We were cozy on the huge lounge in front of the fireplace. The view from the outdoor table or the firepit chairs is just so gorgeous and peaceful…. Already planning another trip with our husbands so we get to use the outdoor pizza oven and table tennis table and the trampoline that we didn’t have time for this trip!Great vege garden (they ARE chillies, not baby capsicum ) and orchard we were encouraged to help ourselves to.I can imagine it would be a lovely cool oasis in the summer, and its a nice walk down to the NeverNever creek. Alison was really responsive to any questions

the most serene location!
Such an incredible location and a really cute house with great facilities. Our highlights; - fantastic lounging by the fire through the afternoon and evening both inside and out. We sat by the fire pit with those views drinking wine and enjoying a cheese board. - the bedding seems new, very warm and comfortable. we had the fires on inside (the pot belly heated the house up really quickly! Was really cosy indoors at night - In the area Alison (host) recommended two spots by Never Never Creek. We chose the furthest one, its nicer (about 5 mins drive). really beautiful rocky spot in a rainforesty location and albeit like an ice bath, the creek was really refreshing. - kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we tried the pizza oven. lit a fire and let it heat over an hour and the pizza was really tasty - was great fun too. they have everything you need to do them well (just buy ingredients) we were only here for a 1 night with two full days, would have loved to stay 2-3 nights as was so easy to enjoy the serenity
