Is a lovely place amenities are great & well equipped room but cleaning wasn’t great floor was dirty & staff trying to enter room made it a bit uncomfortable. But upon talking to reception staff these areas they assured me will be fixed. Which will be good as it’s a great place to stay really.

Our recent stay at New England Motor Lodge was underwhelming and did not represent good value. The check-in experience set the tone. Staff were polite but noticeably cold and disengaged. While another guest checking in at the same time was offered fresh milk for in-room coffee, this was not extended to us, which suggested inconsistency in service. The room itself showed signs of wear. The mattress had a clear permanent indentation that affected comfort, and the bathroom had a persistent damp smell despite the window being open. There were also ants around the in-room rubbish bin, which raised basic cleanliness concerns. Breakfast was particularly poor value. The $47 “package” allows for a hot drink, a cold drink, and a single breakfast item such as granola, eggs Benedict, or eggs on toast with one side. For what is offered, the pricing feels excessive. Overall, the stay fell short of expectations across service, room quality, and value.

Clean room. New bathrooms with good seperate shower. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Not much more than the pubs in town, but the surroundings, quality of food and staff were so much better than the pubs which we did go to. Highly recommended. The ribs were fantastic

Free room upgrade much appreciated, very clean and well equipped apartment, excellent meals at the restaurant. Only improvement suggested is thicker toilet paper and spare rolls for both bathrooms.
