Your Country House is in the geographic center of The Valley of the Moon (what Jack London named Sonoma Valley), near Old Glen Ellen, just South of Kenwood and North of the historic Sonoma Plaza. The best place to stay in all of Sonoma Valley.

You are literally surrounded by world class wineries, dining, spas, history and nature. It is a great getaway year round.

A few of the wineries within 2 minutes of the house: Abbot's Pass, Benzinger, Hamel, Eric Ross, BR Cohn, Imagery, Arrowwood, Mayo, Little Family, Laurel Glen and Paint Horse.

Even though you will be surrounded by famous sites, once you get to the house you may not want to go anywhere. Enjoy the Pool, hot tub, gardens and fire pit. Relax in one of many cozy outdoor spots with a good book. If you like to cook - help yourself to whatever is in season in the garden and plan your menu! Instacart and Prime Now can deliver whatever other ingredients you need within a couple hours.

Hike to the most beautiful parts of the Jack London State Park straight from the house, no need to drive or go for a run around Lake Suttonfield - a 5 minute walk away. Practice yoga under the wisteria pergola or get a workout gardening!

Enjoy coffee on the back deck and the Sunrise over the Mayacamas Mountains. In the evening, glass of wine in hand, watch the Sunset over Heaven Hill from the pool!

Relax at night in the Hot Tub and Stargaze- the country night is so dark that many more stars are visible to the naked eye than in the city.

Most kids of any age find plenty of ways to keep busy. There are many outdoor toys of different types (and conditions!) on site. The cleaning service will not take care of them but a quick rinse with the hose is all they need and most kids are happy. There are Pool toys and floats, push toys, ride on toys, gardening toys and more. Kids like to race around the winding pathways on scooters and little ones enjoy the small playhouse. There are some books, puzzles and inside toys as well. The kitchen has all the kid cutlery, plates etc you will need so leave yours at home! We love families and welcome yours!

The perfect wine country getaway! We had a big group and loved the location - close to many wineries and downtown Sonoma. Ubers were easily accessible. Downtown Glen Ellen was so charming. The house was clean, comfortable and great for a large group. The pool and hot tub were lovely and we loved the backyard for dining al fresco! The host was lovely and gave great local recommendations!! Would be back again for a girls trip, couples trip or even with the whole family!

This house was perfect for me and my friends for a long weekend. Jen was a great host and super communicative, and gave us amazing suggestions for things to do in the area since it was our first time. The house was very clean and the outdoor space is hard to beat! The house was perfect for us. The weather was hotter than usual and the pool was a great place to spend late afternoons. We were close to hiking/ running trails, wineries and groceries. We dined out, ordered in and cooked at the house. A longer stay would have made it more perfect. Will recommend!

Girls Trip to Napa

We loved our stay, the house had everything we needed. we enjoyed ourselves in the pool and having our morning coffees on the front porch. This house is super close to Napa and surrounding area. A wonderful stay with a wonderful host!

My friends and I rented this home for a friend's wedding weekend in Sonoma. It was perfect - lots of room (in terms of sleeping arrangements AND outdoor space). The backyard and pool area were a huge plus. The best part about the stay was how wonderful the host, Jen, was. She was very accommodating, communicative, and really just very sweet :) Would definitely recommend for friends or family trips.

Secure, private family home with large garden, pool and hot tub, unfortunately for us the hot tub was out of order but the host arranged for a maintenance call quickly. Local village of Glen Ellen is very quaint, there is a lot of history in the area……

Our stay was great! The kitchen was really well stocked and had a lot of equipment (coffee grinder, immersion blender, plenty of bowls and pans) that we really appreciated. We had 8 adults (4 couples), and it was plenty of space. The upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door, which was just something we had to keep in mind because of sound travelling. Jen was super communicative and gave us great recommendations. The pool and outdoor space was great and the slide was surprisingly fun even for adults.

Excellent stay

The property is very spacious and comfortable, even for a large family (4 adults, 3 kids). The kids loft was very nice, and enjoyed thoroughly by our kids. All the amenities were as advertised. Pool and waterslide were amazing, and it was really great for hot summer afternoons in Sonoma. Jen was a great host, and was very easy to reach with any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation in Sonoma wine country.

A Lovely Retreat in the Wine Country!

We had an incredible stay at this lovely home in Glen Ellyn! The house easily and comfortably sleeps up to 12. Very clean with a beautiful kitchen. The grounds are incredible. The pool is delightful and so is the rock waterslide. We loved dining on the Tuscan inspired outdoor table each evening and listened to music around the pit fire afterward. The gardens are so pretty. Our host was just lovely to work with! We will be back next year.

Wonderful getaway

We had a great time at the glen ellen getaway. We were 6 adults and 4 kids (8-11) there to celebrate my mother in law’s 80th birthday, and the house was perfect for us. The kids (and adults) loved the pool and the slide and we all had fun exploring the area…a hike in Jack London state park, wineries and the very cute glen ellen market. The host was very communicative, and gave us tons of recommendations before we arrived, and was available if we had any questions while we were there. We will definitely go back sometime again.

Beautiful home! Great for a large group

We stayed at this Glen Ellen getaway for 3 nights celebrating my sister. We were able to comfortably sleep 9 adults. The house had everything we need. We stayed in one night and had a private chef dinner outside on the large wooden table under the string lights. It was a beautiful setting. The pool and hot tub are also amazing. Nights were cold so we ended up spending a lot of time in the hot tub! Overall, this was the perfect house for what we needed! The host was super communicative, helpful, and responsive.
