Fantastic stay, easy booking, check in & out as well. Room was lovely, clean, spacious & great view of the river. Good spot to be based as everything within a nice walking distance. Cant wait till we're back next year.

My average score is for the whole stay. We were unfortunate that we didn't get offered a porter on arrival and signs to room weren't good. The TV didn't work in the room and light bulb flickering, the duty manager apologised and fixed the room issues. We were tired on arrival and wanted to dine in the restaurant which was closed, I thought the hotel should have emailed me in advance to explain about the closure which we found out was because a dishwasher was being fitted. Anyway we opted for bar food and thought we'd have a cocktail firstly, there was a problem with the bar so the cocktail didn't arrive until we were half way through our meal. the staff apologised and gave the cocktails complimentary

We used self check in and check out which was a quick and seamless process. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the shower was powerful. The one minus was we booked a room for three adults and we only got two complimentary biscuits and bottles of water. It is the little things that make the difference between 4 stars and 5 starts.
