The location was excellent and the reception staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast was very over-priced.On the first day, we were charged the same amount for both a child and an adult. On the second day, the price was slightly reduced for my daughter. One of the waitresses was very unhelpful. The public areas of the hotel smelt of cigarette smoke.

Very impressive old fashioned Swiss hotel. Excellent service - kind and sympathetic. The three of us (me and the two kids) were very comfortable in a family room and we had dinner in the restaurant. I had an excellent steak tartare as an entree followed by a Weinershnitzel! Delicious! And with a 20 % discount and some free drinks terrific value! The kids and I highly recommend this place. And don't forget the breakfast! Fantastic! Excellent birch muesli - classic Swiss stuff done so well!

"The hotel staff was amazing. The food was good at the restaurant and the breakfast. The room AC barely worked. The front desk had to bring us an additional fan. The fire alarm went off around 12am. So convenient to be so close to the train station."

"Beautiful views of the mountains. Wonderful spa. Directly across from the train station (no noise) and adjacent to all the shopping. Staff was superb. The only downside is the restaurant bar seems to be closed so in the evening you had to go to a different property for entertainment."
