Really nice hotel just on the edge of central Gijon. Everything easily walkable. Rooms to a very high standard (if somewhat moodily lit, but that is the style) and junior suite was particualrly good value and well appointed. Breakfast high quality continental with deicious fresh juices. Very nice bar with super comfy seats, great chilled atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved it. Would stay again.

The hotel was in nice condition but no basic amenities as needed in any nice hotel. No bath tissue in either bathroom, only 1 small water bottle, and lights were so few in a suite with walls painted dark gray or black. Worst problem is that room was hot, thermostat set to heat and no ability on thermostat to set to cool. Also, poor quality bed mattress and very poor quality pillows. Hotel room are for a good nights sleep and wasn’t possible in a hot room with poor bedding.
