We had a great stay here with our one year old and three year old! We appreciated the cot and rollaway bed set up upon our arrival, and the walk to city center was about 15 min so not too bad. Breakfast was good as well. Special thank you to Sandra and Famke who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!

We only stayed for 1 night, the staff were so lovely and helpful, really genuine and friendly. The hotel is very far out of the city Center and not in a great location for walking about with kids, the room was large and had everything we could need, some areas looked worn and the beds were very small, other than that there was nothing to complain about.

Aparthotel Castelnou is a delightful place to stay. The apartment was spacious and spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Staff were so helpful, attentive and friendly, including advice on the best way to walk into the city centre. Dinner was amazing and there is a very pleasant small garden for eating outside. I'd thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay.

Great location for walking to city centre. Friendly, efficient and helpful Reception staff. Limited (and a little expensive) but convenient on-site, secure parking. Good food in the Dali restaurant and excellent breakfast buffet (included in room rate). Studio was spacious and well equipped with sufficent facilities to prepare a simple meal and relax in the evening if you do not wish to venture out to a restaurant after a day sightseeing. Ghent is a lovely, walkable city and we would absolutely stay at Castelnou again.
