The staff I interacted with was great. I have always enjoyed my stays there for years. There was an issue this time. I chose the .12 noon checkout and put the do not disturb hangar on the door, hoping to sleep in to about 10:30. Instead I was awakened by the cleaning crew vacuuming out side my door and making noise around 8:30 am. It seemed they could care less about the customer. This is my first bad experience there.

Wyndham Gettysburg is our favorite place to stay when we are in Gettysburg. Downstairs has just been renovated snd is beautiful. Restaurant is great with a wonderful menu. Beds were comfortable which is an important thing for me. Entire hotel is clean. Rooms could use some bathroom renovations but I understand that’s coming. Town and battlefield are just s short drive. I recommend this hotel for a great comfortable stay.

I was impressed by the hotel up on arrival. It has a beautiful lobby, decorated for Christmas and with a cannon displayed which was a nod to the history of the region. I was amazed at the decor and large size of the hotel. My room was beautiful, and the bed was sooo comfortable! I had a handicap acct room, by chance, which was huge and spacious. The hotels locatowas quiet, but this hotel was quite busy with weddings and events in the ballrooms. I was disappointed that there wasn't free coffee or a water machine available, which has been standard at other hotels I have stayed at. After the first night, I began to notice that there were some things that could use an upgrade: frayed linens, sink fixtures that showed wear, and that section of the rooms hadn't been vacuumed. The coffee maker didn't seem very clean. Despite these small concerns, I was overall very happy staying here and I would return.

Room was very clean amd staff was very friendly. The shower had a half door, which caused the toilet paper to get soaked when anyone used the shower, and for the floor to get wet. The shower floor made cracking noises. They charge you $3.50 in the lobby for mediocre coffee (not complimentary for paying guests). I would definitely stay here again. The bar and restaurant closed at 9. Pool is open from 6am-11pm and was very well maintained. Overall a very good stay.
