The staff was amazing I love how Gettysburg has stayed historic but modern around it. Wish we would have done our whole trip there. South Carolina was a disappointment and expensive. Love the pictures in the rooms. The blonde front desk lady is super sweet

I wore earplugs, hubby didnt. smoke alarm battery was dying and beeping all night, he didnt want the people from the desk coming in because I was able to sleep through with my earplugs in but he didnt sleep. TV and fridge weren't working, power strip was switched off I found that out on my own. Why isnt this stuff taken care of before a person stays there? horrible experience

We’ve stayed here numerous times with no issues. This time was different, however. There appeared to be a large number of people living at the hotel. We could hear 2 men screaming at each other around 10:30pm the first 2 nights of our stay. Other guests were very inconsiderate and would allow their doors to shut loudly in the middle of the night, so they could go outside to smoke. I think we’ll be looking to stay elsewhere from now on. The room was clean, but could definitely use some new paint and new caulking in the bathtub/shower. The gym and 5th floor are under renovation, FYI. January 21, 2025

The breakfast is bagels and toast in baggies, waffles, cild preboiled eggs or cereal. Orange juice was watered down. Trash can by 3rd floor laundry was overflowed with beer bottles for over 15 hours. Management charged my card even tho my stay was prepaid. Staff was very nonchalent about it and manager was not on site. Finally got my money back 12 hours after it was taken.
