Remove the old carpet in the rooms.

The room was spacious BUT it needs the carpet removed! The carpet is old fraying and leaves a musty smell of old smoke. The third floor hallway smelled of fish and was very humid.

We appreciate that this is a dog-friendly property! We were given a room on the first floor very near an exit, so it was easy to take our elderly dog out when needed. As such, the rugs in the room and in the common areas were very stained, but this was not expected, given that dogs are permitted. Also, the room door and exterior door did not close easily or automatically (they both needed a good push or pull), so security was not optimum.

Horrible hotel.

This hotel is an absolute dump!!! The exterior grounds are unkept grass as high as four and 5 inches high. Parking lot needs to be repaved. The hotel is way outdated! Stains on the carpeting and furniture. The bathroom tub has lasting stains on the floor. The toilet is old and not handicapped complaint. The room is drab and all of the furniture could be replaced. I reserved the room under my name and when we checked into the room my wife handed clerk her ID. She has my last name to which the clerk asked if she was my wife. Very odd indeed! This hotel for as bad as it is charges premium prices. This is no better than a Motel 6. Horrible! There was even a fight between two guests during our stay. Unreal!

Nice rooms hotel

The room was perfect, but the mattresses were too soft, but for us it wasn't too bad because we only stayed one night. The breakfast is good, the service too, but they serve you with disposable plates and cutlery.

Way overpriced compared to far nicer hotels in Baltimore. The clientele that this hotel attracts is a little rough to be around. Bed and bath linens are worn out enough to be used as cleaning rags.

Very easy check in and out procedure. Room, lobby, and breakfast area clean and taken care of. Short ride to downtown or the Gettysburg military park. Definitely would stay again or recommend to anybody staying in the area.
