The Space:

Snow‑dusted trees line the private road as you pull up to Forest Haven, and the crisp mountain air greets you with a quiet promise of rest. Tall east‑facing windows spill soft winter light across the loft‑style chalet, while the scent of pine follows you inside. After a day on nearby trails, steam rises from the private hot tub as the forest settles into evening hush.



Sleeping arrangements

Two bedrooms each hold a queen bed, dressed with fresh linens, extra pillows and blankets for cooler nights. The layout comfortably sleeps four guests.



Kitchen & dining

A full kitchen provides everything needed for a relaxed breakfast or a home‑cooked dinner, and it opens onto the living area for easy conversation. A BBQ grill on the spacious deck invites casual meals outdoors.



Outdoor living

Step onto the deck to feel the forest surround you. The private hot tub offers warm relief after exploring, and a fire pit creates a cozy gathering spot under the stars. Yard games are available for kids and adults, and free on‑site parking awaits. The backyard is open but not fully fenced.

Forest Haven sits in Gerrardstown, a short drive from Berkeley Springs’ shops and restaurants, historic Harpers Ferry’s river activities, and Winchester’s breweries and wineries. Numerous hiking trails wind through the surrounding landscape, offering year‑round outdoor options.

Note

An indoor fireplace is present but currently broken and decorative only. The cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs and walkways before each arrival; natural leaves, pollen or similar may still be visible, especially in certain seasons. Cats are not allowed due to allergies.
