Small yet comfortable

Like this small hotel. The location of hotel and neighbourhood is convenient and the staffs were friendly. The only thing I would complain is the cleaning staff didn't replace my shampoo and shower gel. Overall I was very happy for my stay here.

Nice hotel steps away from train station

My husband and I came to Genk for a friends wedding. Quick note: Hotel Artel may be soon be referred to as Green Hotel.The hotel staff accommodated a late check in without any hassle. We felt welcome from the minute we stepped into the reception area. Clean rooms (very efficient design and use of space), closet space, mini fridge, tv, mini kettle - everything we really needed for our short stay. The hotel location is perfect, right in the city center - steps away from the train station, grocery store, shopping mall(!!!), a beautiful park and some local bakeries/ restaurants/ bars. The manager of the hotel, Kwinten, went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable; he promptly replied to all our requests/ needs. It was very clear that he loves what he does and his beautiful city. Thank you for all your kindness and accommodation!!! We are looking forward coming back and experiencing the new Roots Bar!!!

Echt geen 3* waard!!!

Geen fijne entree, je moet bellen en dan komt er iemand je binnenlaten (om 17u). De receptie is boven. Deze jongeman was wel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! De kamer was vuil, de frigo ook. De douche zat onder de schimmel!!! In de badkamer was geen verwarming en lagen haren. Bovendien was klink van de badkamerldeur stuk, dus geen privacy! Aan de ene kant van het bed hing op schouderhoogte een rekje tegen de muur, met de tv op, je kon niet in of uit je bed zonder te bukken. We hebben dus veiligheidshalve met het badkamerlicht aan geslapen. 'S morgens wilden we (zoals afgesproken met de receptionist) om 8u gaan ontbijten, maar er was nog geen licht aan in de ontbijtruimte! Er was dus ook nog niets van ontbijt, zelfs geen koffie!!! Na ca 15 min was er wel verse koffie en warme broodjes! Ik wil wel meegeven dat de ligging heel goed is! Maar ons zien ze hier toch niet meer terug! Ook al is het een 3* hotel, hygiene is superbelangrijk!!!

Lage: gut von der Autobahn zu erreichen Personal: nett Begrüßung: nett Zimmer: - unser Studio befand sich noch im Umbau,einige Möbel waren noch nicht vollständig aufgebaut und einige Reperaturen standen noch an - sehr großzügig geschnitten - Aufzug vorhanden Shopping: - in der direkten Nähe und genügend Geschäfte zur Auswahl Bahnhof: - in direkter Nähe - Brüssel oder sogar die Küste auf direktem Wege gut erreichbar
