The room was neglected, worn and way overdue for repairs and updates. The carpet was ripped, curtain ripped, there was multiple holes in the door where they had changed out many locks, the baseboards were nasty and just did not feel comfortable walking on the floors. The room was next to the inside pool. They do not have a handle on their humidity control therefore the room was humid, uncomfortable and every metal piece in the room was rusted. There was no barrier for the noisey pool from morning until 11 p.m. so there was hardly any peace and quiet. This room never should have been given to any guest at all but shut down for it to be completely renovated. I will say there were a few positives, the location was prime, the pool area was kept with nice landscaping, the lobby was well kept and lobby bathrooms were clean. The cafe had delicious food and good variety. The night and morning staff were very kind and courteous. However, do not eat the breakfast buffet (no it is not free) it was the worst breakfast we have ever had a lodge or hotel. Many others were complaining as well. We will not be staying here again.
