The room was really nice. It was clean and smelled good. It was perfect for a one night stay for us to lay our heads. It had been updated and looks good. The concrete outside definitely needs repair and so does the concrete on the stairs BUT it wasn’t that big of a deal. The staff were polite and very helpful. Welcoming! We will be staying again because the location was perfect for us. A block down from the strip and quiet. Felt safe and not concerned with walking.

It does have a working gas fireplace in the rooms. I loved that. The staff were very friendly. The property is close to activities, dining and shopping. It was nice not having to get my car out every time we needed to out. Felt very safe there and walking at night. The only small thing I wish they would add is the flooring is some kind of manufactured plank flooring so a rug under the beds would b nice. It made noise when you turned over in the bed. The beds were comfy though.

I found wear that no room service dispite we were 4 people ,2 diferents staff told me that towels and more items were provided for 2 or 3 people.the breatfast is all pick up and selfserice cold and cookies....there are more options around and better.and I paid 100$ for room service!!!!!!

We were told reservation from Expedia wasn’t sent over. They fixed that but, upon fixing we were not given the correct room. When my husband said something he said we got the better of the 2 rooms. Feel that we should have been compensated. Won’t go back. Had to buy cleaning supplies before my granddaughter came and her clothes still turned brown from crawling.

Really liked the location. The room was cozy-loved the fireplace. Checkin was great. Breakfast is minimal; we only got coffees. They allowed our small pet but I think there should be a one time charge not charged every night we stay. We stayed 2 nights but anything longer we would have looked elsewhere. The ONLY fault I give this property is that the noise carries from other rooms. We were woken both nights by the adjoining room next to the one we were staying in with loud voices and people arguing. Our first time to Gatlinburg. Probably find a cabin next time.

Love the location! Everyone was so nice. The fireplace in the room was such a bonus! The condition of the stairs and a few things in the room were a little rough, but it did not end up taking away from our trip. We would stay again!

We booked this hotel after looking for one in Gatlinburg with an EV charging station. They do not have one even though the website we booked through said they did. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Stairs to 2nd floor need repair and were somewhat dangerous. Elevator area was dirty. No coffee available until 8 a.m. Room was comfortable and adequate.

I really wanted to like this hotel. The staff at check in and out were friendly. The bed was very squeaky, but the mattress itself was comfortable. We did enjoy the fireplace. We checked out early because we could hear everything and everyone. The walls are paper thin. The TV didnt work. The person at the desk said he would fix it, but never came up after requesting it 3 times. When we checked out early no one asked why, or seemed to care at all. Overall the hotel seems rundown and in need of repairs.

River Edge Inn is a Bust

My wife and I began staying at River Edge Inn pre-Covid and loved it. But this doesn’t seem to be the same hotel post-Covid. My last two recent stays found equipment ( hair dryer & coffee maker) inoperative. When I reported the Kerig being inoperative the office manager implies I don’t know how to load the k cup. But what I dislike most is there being no housekeeping or resupplying your room without having to fill out a card, which in my case this week was misplaced by hotel staff. I also strongly dislike cold air blowing into the room from gaps under the door. I used to think this hotel was quaint and cute. Now I just think the hotel is cheap and outdated. I will not stay at River Edge Inn again in the future.
