The room was old and needs to be updated. Shower was hard to get hot water, the faucet needed to be replaced. The whole building needs update. There is no lounge area to wait in or meet with anyone else. The breakfast was adequate no fruit. We obviously will not be staying there again.

At check in I requested a front room at the parkway because my husband has COPD and I need a hip replacement.I was told those rooms were reserved but our entire stay the rooms were available . The room we were given was across a cat walk to an adjacent building. The door going out was broken at the hinges and scrubbing the concrete and we couldn’t get the luggage cart out . We were given room 316 all the way in the back of the building. The trash dumpster emptied the dumpsters at 2:30 ish every morning. Out check out day we left Gatlinburg at 3:38 AM,Run down hotel !!

The staff were fine. The problems started in the elevator. The walls looked like giant rats had been chewing on them for about a year. The carpet in the elevator was disgusting. “Filthy” doesn’t come close to describing how nasty they were. I may have to burn my shoes. Now to the room. The electrical outlets by the bed didn’t work. Not only that, there was one outlet that the plug wouldn’t even stay in. It was like it wasn’t there. One of the pillow cases looked like the cleaning staff had used it to clean the sidewalk. Dirty and VERY noticeable. The molding around the a/c unit was falling off. The bathtub had hairs everywhere. Had to rinse them out before using it. The electrical outlet in the bathroom worked…sort of. The ENTIRE plug was falling out of the wall. Not secured at all. To its credit, it did work. Prior patching of holes in the wall were sloppy and not professional looking at all. Other than an I’m sorry, the desk clerk didn’t seem overly concerned. I wouldn’t stay at the Days Inn Gatlinburg if my life depended on it. I have photos in the event that the manager wants to see.

The room was absolutely neglected. This entire hotel needs to be renovated. No curtains on the window. We asked and were provided a comforter instead to Mcgiver a solution. It sorta worked. Bathtub drain was plugged and they did get that issue corrected. Multiple receptacles didn’t work properly and bathtub water fill faucet handles were falling off. Hot tub functioned but not fully. Room was cleaned but there were bugs. Hotel staff was friendly and housekeeping did their best considering the hand they were dealt. The location is good and the potential is there but corporate needs to spend some money and update this hotel. get

I did not have a balcony room. My room was on ground level with the window directly in the parking lot, literally 2 feet from the hood of a car parked in front of it. We could not open the blinds because people in the parking lot and getting in/out of their cars could look right in. This was unfortunate because the room was very dark with no lamp for the desk. I asked for a lamp because we needed to do some work at the desk but they didn’t bring one until our last night. The facility was very old, mildewy bathroom and the entire facility is in desperate need of a remodel.

The room was clean, we had just moved from some nasty conditions at another hotel, the bed and linens were fresh and comfortable. Parking was great! We did not use the pool.

I had zero view as I was on bottom floor. The room was adequate for price, location was amazing and the location of my room kept it nice and quiet. Heating and A/C functioned fine.
