Beautiful view of the bay

Rooms were large and comfortable and there was a nice breeze coming off the bay. Rooms have a terrace overlooking the water. Perfect spot.

Not good experience with hotel room & hotel.com

We recently enjoyed a two-day stay at this lovely property, drawn by its panoramic views and historic charm. While the location certainly delivered, offering beautiful sunrises and a generally pleasant atmosphere, our initial room experience was far from ideal. Upon checking into our "Panoramic Room," we were surprised to find no air conditioning. Given the hot weather, the room was uncomfortably humid and warm. A single fan provided in the room was simply insufficient to cool the space, and with a small baby accompanying us, this was a significant concern. We immediately contacted reception to request a room change, explaining our discomfort. Unfortunately, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. Opening the window for ventilation was not a viable solution, as flying insects quickly became an issue. We endured a very difficult first night due to the heat. Thankfully, on the second day, the hotel provided a portable air conditioner, which offered much-needed relief. While the overall experience with the property's location and ambiance was good, the initial lack of air conditioning and the difficulty we faced on the first night was quite disappointing.

The place have a great view. Close to Gaspe and Parce. The beds were not comfortable at all. When I entered the room it was full of dust and not well cleaned and there was no covers on the bed but didn’t ask for one as I couldn’t guarantee it is clean. The room smell was terrible like someone gutted a fish in there. The bath tub was not clean and the ´mini fridge smells bad. The staff was nice and everything is so good but they need to take care of the cleanliness of the place.

Terrible, j'ai passé 3 nuits et personnes ne vient faire le ménage. Il font le menage seulement quand ont quitte alors il faut allé porter les vidange, remettre un sac neuf dans les 2 poubelles. Les serviettes et débarbouillette s'empile et les plancher devient sale. Faut aussi aller chercher nous mêmes se qui manque car ils mettent seulement la chambre comme si nous restions 1 nuit. Service de mer**. Ne conseille a personne.

We got locked out during the stay. Though, they allotted a different room, it took a lot of time to get our stuff from the old room. Ended up losing some items during the move late in the evening. Also, the alternate room had issues with the shower and caused a burn since the water was so hot. Never managed to get the shower working fine. It was either too cold or too hot. The location is fantastic and the old room which we got locked out of had no issues apart from the lock itself. Hopefully, they resolve these issues to make the stay pleasant for future guests. Thanks Dennis for your help during the lockout.
