Some staff were very efficient such as the manager for check out on Wednesday morning. Other staff were not efficient and said we would have a rollout bed but had not communicated this which I found out when I called to confirm a week or so before arriving, I reminded the staff member when I called to confirm and was again told that the roll out couch would be there but when we arrived after hours, it was not there forcing two very large members of our party to try to sleep in one bed. More inefficiency.

Only non-issue was the elk, you needed to check for them before going to your car, but that made it for me. The view from the balcony was stunning. We had an issue which we reported on arrival which was rectified immediately

The room was great, very very spacious, has the sink outside of the bathroom which I find very practical. Beds were a little old, but comfortable (for 1 night, if you are staying more days beware the beds a veeeery soft). The only thing is it says the check-in was until 10pm, we arrived at 9:30pm to find our room keys taped to the reception door, and no staff on sight. We were lucky we did need anything. Otherwise, a good stay.

Late Fall Stay in Gardiner.

My wife and I just finished a 3-night, late fall stay. Our primary purpose was to visit Yellowstone. I knew this hotel was fine, but it was better than I expected!! The river views and the sound of the rushing water were lovely! The spacious room was very convenient. The restaurants were walkable (and good). The staff was very helpful and friendly! I would definitely come here again.

Well stocked kitchenette room. The room heating system had a nice steady fan so it didn’t wake you up cycling on and off, also blocks the road noise. Beds are very comfortable. We always stay here when we come to Gardiner.

Good location in Gardiner right on river. Short walk to famous Yellowstone Park arch! Helpful staff. Elk were walking through parking lot on our stay in October!

Convenient for multi day visit to YNP. Ice machine near our room was not working and we had to walk in the rain to get to the other one. Placed on the third floor, with stairs the only option, which made it difficult for a senior citizen with knee problems. Room was neat & clean with a great balcony view of town & mountains. Walked across the Yellowstone Rive both days for dinner. Roosevelt Arch was also walking distance.

I wasn’t so sure about this place when we first arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is a bit dated, but we were very comfortable here and had everything we needed and a nice view!

Room was clean, view was great, staff was friendly. Room did smell very strongly of perfume or possibly floral deodorizer. It was overwhelming and we had to air out the room quite a bit before it was manageable. Wish they had refillable soaps etc, rather than little mini bottles that end up in the trash. Quiet and comfortable and good location, though.

Super clean, comfortable, beautiful views, nice staff. Be sure to ask for an upper room for the best views. We walked to get coffee, eat, and shop for gifts. The entrance of the park is also right there. We loved sitting on our patio watching the Elk around us, especially when they would cross the bridge. Great place to stay, and after looking around at different options while we were there, I’m glad we chose this place!
