Staff was rude when we checked in. Acted like we were a bother. Kept saying credit machine wasn’t working even though it kept saying approved. By the time I’d tapped 5 or 6 times I wasn’t sure what I would being charged with. BTW $900 for 3 people 2 rooms 2 nights and 2-12lbs terriers in each room. Only stayed one night cause of all the difficulty, but ate all the 2nd night fees plus room rate. Rightfully so I should have dug deeper on their website to see their unreasonable dog fees and $100 deposit but by the time I got home I’m having to dispute charges because we live 7 hrs away and manager wasn’t available until after 3p. When we could find any staff, no one was friendly or helpful. I was charged for a 3rd night and was charged by hotels.com and the actual hotel. So double tap. Pet fee was outrageous ($27) per night, per pet, per room (never had that before) and a $100 deposit seems a bit of an overreach. They aren’t the Hyatt Regency. Place was clean but in an ugly unkempt and overgrown area. I was very disappointed with the staff’s dismissal of any of our concerns and not being available to talk to me at all. Had to get a janitor to help find staff that could check us out and again no manager. They even stopped and told my 76yr mom if she poured herself coffee in their dining area they would charge. Not offered for free. Sheesh- even Motel 6 offers coffee for free and pets too. Completely UNSAT. Worst experience through hotels.com since I started using in 2012.
