Casa de la Playa (JB#: STR25-000084) is a recently renovated beach house on a canal right off the bay and ready for you to enjoy spectacular views at sunrise or sunset, great fishing or just relaxing with the family in the spacious accommodations inside and outside the house. Enjoy swimming in the canal or take a short 5 minute drive to the beach and then come back at night to reel in some fish for dinner. Families welcome! Please no parties!
The house has three qualified bedrooms upstairs and two additional rooms downstairs. Two of the rooms upstairs have queen beds and one with two twin beds. The two rooms downstairs both have full size. There is also a living area with sofas and TVs upstairs and downstairs. Plenty of room for the family to stretch out! The upstairs has two full baths and the downstairs has one full bath. The washer and dryer are located downstairs.

The house was clean and spacious. There was a place to fish and crab. We had a view of the canal, and you could see the bay from the top deck. We had an issue as we arrived at the house, but the host got it resolved quickly.

Nice place, missing a few basic needs.

The house was overall very good for our group. We enjoyed the location and the deck. However there were no paper towels and just a single hand towel for the kitchen. It made it very difficult to cook/clean and keep tidy during our stay.

Great location, easy beach access

Property was exceptionally clean with the exception of a few bugs here and there inside. Ended up having to text the owner and she responded right away. Love that this is in a neighborhood; quiet, no traffic, etc. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a Galveston getaway!

Great location for fishing

Guys fishing trip in West Bay. The house was very clean and the bed’s comfortable. The HVAC system worked great. There was 9 of us and we never ran out of hot water. When we arrived, there was an issue that was unavoidable. I contacted manager and she had a crew at the house immediately to rectify. Uncommonly quick service. I highly recommend this for large groups.

Family getaway

This home is everything it is described as and more. The location is perfect for fishing and is close proximity to the beach. Stores are convenient for last minute needs. We will stay here again.
