Nice property. Annoying check in.

When we checked in we were told the room type we booked wasn’t ready and they tried to give us another type. We said we’d wait. After a bit I receive a text advising our room is available. Great. Go to the counter and the girls tries to give us the same room type from before was not the Bayou view we had confirmed when booking. We said we’d be happy to wait. Then she tells me it’s not going to be available. After much back and forth she tells us she’ll give us an ‘upgraded room’ with two double beds and a bayou view. Thanksgiving Memory 2024

It was amazing. We spent great moments during the Thanksgiving holiday. We enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet. The light festival. The ice land, and the stay at the hotel. We will come back again during the spring holidays.

Moody Gardens is an excellent place to stay for all kinds of family/couple fun. Easy walk to many sights and attractions. Our favorite was the Aquarium pyramid. Everything seems to have been maintained fairly well and is kept nicely clean. The food on site is better than most restaurants off site. Extremely easy parking on site. Only negative for us was the queen size beds seemed small. We did not measure, but they weren’t as small as a full, just on the small side for a queen. Great vacation experience overall. Definitely recommend!

Great amenities - so - so rooms. Clean but tired.

Clean, great breakfast buffet, nice views, good amenities. Rooms a little tired considering price. AC controls - so -so. Can not force heat or cool.
