HOT breakfast - NOPE!!

We have stayed at Home2 Suites in other places and were quite disappointed at this location. We requested our room to be cleaned after the second night. When we returned after a day out, after 3PM, the room was not done. We then just asked for clean towels and coffee. The next day, we even made point of stopping at the front desk to request housekeeping but, again, after returning close to 4PM, the room was not done. We gave up at that time. The hotel is also listed as "pet friendly" but don't think that means bringing your old smelly dog into the breakfast area during breakfast hours. It was NOT a service dog. The pets are apparently allowed on every floor not just a dedicated section. The very worst part of this stay is the chaos at breakfast. We understood that on one morning, there were three cruise ships departing and it was spring break time in some parts of Texas. However, the layout for breakfast is what causes the most chaos. The machines to make pancakes/waffles are in the middle of the set causing the entire breakfast line to wait while a pancake or waffle is being made. Those machines should be separate from the rest of the selections. The foods that were offered were lukewarm each morning. We even went over to the Tru side of the hotel but their food was also not hot. Hilton needs to get their act together and get this mess straightened up! A lot of guests were complaining.

Awesome stay!!

Stay was amazing will come back and stay again. The entire property was clean and smelled great. The staff was attentive and polite! The breakfast was great and full of options. The breakfast staff was all over and always checking and filling things back up. There was nothing to complain on this stay! Awesome property and management staff to keep it in tip top shape!

Enjoyed every moment w/my family at Tru By Hiltel!

We arrived at the Hotel sunday around 4 there was a lot of ppl there but the ladies checking us in got all of us checked in fast and with a smile! My daughters and I hit our room key and went straight up to our room. We were so happy to walk into a clean very spacious room! There was a full sz refrigerator a sink a disposable a dishwasher there’s dishes silverware coffee cups even a Toaster & microwave!!! We had two Queen beds and a Pull out sofa! Plenty of lamps and Tables with USB connections for all our devices! In the morning we went dwn stairs & enjoyed the amazing breakfast they offer from 6-9 It was sooo good! My 10 yr old that eats nothing enjoyed every bite!! And there’s plenty of seating all over!! We also got a rm w/a balcony ocean view It was so great!! The only thing i didn’t like was having to pay for our parking each nite. The gates need to be closed if they’re going to charge us. other then that It was very nice We will definitely be coming back to this hotel! thank you Hilton for such an amazing stay!!

Disappointed with how much we spent to stay here. Our trip was cut short due to very loud noise throughout our stay with kids stomping and running above our room. We could not sleep due to the loud noise. So we ended up checking out earlier than our original 2 night stay.
