We really enjoyed the hotel. The Hollywood memorabilia was fun for sure. We loved the "secret" room. Our only complaint was that the restaurant service was exceptionally slow.

Have stayed here twice before and overall they stay was very nice. However, this time was average at best. Shower water was not warm much less hot. Tepid at best. This was disappointing. Brought it to the attention of the staff at checkout ( only stayed one night). Received a somewhat half hearted apology and not much else. Again a bit disappointing. Hopefully this was just a onetime experience. As said had very good experience during pre previous stays. Would consider giving it one more chance in the future as the hotel as a whole does have character.

totally unique experience, be sure to ask about secret room. front desk extremely nice and helpful. any problems or issues delt with expertly. convenient to grocery across street. lunch and dinner good, breakfast okay. service a bit slow in restaurant, maybe short on staff? Rooms clean and comfortable, with a true taste of the past.
