We went to Madeira, Porto, and Lisbon for our honeymoons and stayed at four different hotels during our visit, and the Savoy Palace was far and away the best hotel we stayed at. The room and view were both incredible and we really enjoyed the rooftop pool area. We’d absolutely stay here again if we come back to Madeira.

Can recommend the breakfast was top quality, we had an issue with our room but it was immediately sorted. Lovely hotel buildnin the cost of parking per night as there is not much off street parking near the hotel. We will come again in the end was worth the money

This is our second time at this hotel. And if we come back again to this beautiful island, we will stay there again. Location is wonderful. Hotel itself is a designation of relaxation and good food is what you are looking for. Room is so comfortable and clean. We had an error in our reservation through Expedia and hotel just corrected it for us which was so wonderful.

We loved it because the weather can be 4 seasons in one day so we made a point of taking a walk every morning for a couple of hours after breakfast. It has private walkways and bridges which provide wonderful short cuts and also access to the other Savoy hotel. The food in the hotel restaurants is exceptional and so we did not eat out in 6 days there (oh once we ate out, meeting friends). Cleanliness including all the toilets just top notch. Service around the pool top notch. Very very difficult to beat (Only the spa disappointed purely from a noise perspective as some drilling was going on but this is rare of course. Wonderful spa). The rooms excellent and sizeable
