This property is just opposite station and castle. Brand new hotel. Room was nice but a bit small. Breakfast was excellent in pleasant surroundings. Staff were very friendly. Very clean. Close to lots of eating area.

Brand new property, inaugurated Mar 2019. Well located near the bus and train stations. Walking distance to the Fukuyama castle. Small but well appointed room. Decent breakfast with enough vegetarian options. Lots of shopping and food in the vicinity. The only thing I would note is to make sure you call ahead and say you need the non-smoking room. There are lots of smoking rooms and the hotel tends to get full.

Richmond excellent

From my checking to my departure I cannot fault this hotel. The location is excellent to buses and trains and only a five minute walk to the castle. Breakfast is worth it it is only ¥1000 and there is plenty to eat. My room was immaculate and clean for the full five days I was there. This hotel is an exceptional hotel

Fukuyama hotel

Great location right next to the station. Grocery store and convenience stores downstairs were great. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Fukuyama castle also in walking distance. Great service from front desk staff and washing machines available which was great for traveling with children. Reasonable pricing would stay again for sure.

This was my 2nd time staying at the Richmind. Great service, staff very helpful, rooms clean & everything I needed was there to use, even a pants press. Bathrooms are furnished on a daily basis with pkg'd. toothbrush, paste, razor, & comb. Fresh robes (takata), slippers & towels daily as well. Vreakfast buffet served daily for 1000 yen. Location is perfect. It is a 3 min walk to bus & train station. Grocery store in lower level of bldg. Tenmaya store across the street. Great hotel.
