Very clean, nice staff, very conveniently located in the town center, walkable to bus stops. If you park at the garage, you get a free Fussen Card which can give you free bus (and more) rides to the Neuschwanstein and even discounted admission tickets. Beds are very very comfy too!

Great place for a stay in Fussen. Hotel rooms were large and clean and staff were very friendly. They have easy underground parking and lots of restaurants in close walking distance with traditional Bavarian food.

The hotel room was huge w/a great bathtub. The breakfast was also excellent, providing many choices. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved this hotel and Fuessen!

Great for a one night stay to visit Castle Neuschwanstein and Castle Hohenschwangau. Super convenient and close to the train station. Arrives from Munich and headed out to Colmar, France. They held our luggage since we get t there before check in and provided everything we needed for our stay. Lots of room, comfortable, and quiet!

We stayed only one night after visiting the castles in Schwangau. So not a lot of time to check everything out. It was hot in our rooms that night. Had to sleep with window open which made for a bit of noise late at night with people walking around outside after having imbibed. But we were exhausted from castle climbing in 80F weather all day so we mostly slept through it. Breakfast was good. And check out was easy.

Just steps from the train station! Desk clerk was nervous about her English; we pointed out that our German is zero. Looking over her shoulder, I noticed a glass doored refrigerator, with beer. We'd just got off a long train trip (four trains, and a couple alternate itineraries due to impossible connection times). She sold us a large bottle of dunkel and opened it for us at the desk. Our moods immediately improved! Breakfast was good and extensive. Dining room is very nice. Actually, everything about this place was nice. I booked at the last minute, found this hotel and paid more than I had budgeted. I'd recommend it though.

Can’t recommend this place enough!! The reception staff were wonderful, and it’s right next to train station and bus stop for the castles. Also a short walk to Old Town, which is worth a day of its own. Hope to stay again some day.

It was great being within the old town area, and the location very near the free bus to the castles was a real plus. The facility is getting a bit dated and the (family) room, while spacious, was not very well appointed. Breakfast was great. Navigating the hotel's underground parking garage was a bit tight.

Was disappointed in the check in and out process. Check in the young man was pretty rigid and cold. When we tried to check out lady would not talk to me. I had short window to catch my train. So I just left thinking my bill was paid. She waited till I was at train station chased me down and started yelling at me I didn’t pay city tax. Why isn’t city tax collected during the check-in process. I had to go back almost missed my train
