The outdoor area will undoubtedly become your favourite place, since it is provided with barbecue, a private swimming pool and a parking area, in addition to a huge stone terrace. Its plenty of ornamental plants, colorful flowers, and bushes create the perfect spot where to hide and relax while enjoying the marvellous views provided. The access to the house is completely paved characterised by curves and slopes, typical of the mountainous area where the house is located.
The town of Frigiliana is one of Spain’s most fascinating towns, and you can discover its charm while taking a walk down the stone-pavement narrow streets and filling your eyes with the impressive views over the valley, the sierra and the Mediterranean Sea. Most of its territory extends in the Sierra of Almijara, thus being awarded with majestic landscapes, such as that of river Higuerón’s trajectory, the gorges and the slashes caused by river Chillar, which also borders the city of Nerja, and the green patches that contrast with the White Towns’ vivid color. Among Frigiliana’s noteworthy features, you will find the XVII century Church and the twelve mosaics that tell the history of the Moore rebellion and that are to be found in different squares and streets, thus making you feel as if you were travelling across time.
Frigiliana is located about 50 minutes far from the airport and the city centre of Malaga. The city of Nerja is located 7 km far, while the picturesque historic town of Ronda is 161 km far. Antequera is 111 km far and 110 are the kilometers that divide the town of Frigiliana from the spectacular mountains of the Sierra Nevada. The city of Seville is 259 km far, that of Granada 106 km, Cadiz is 296 while Cordoba is 212 km far.
The town of Frigiliana belongs to the region of La Axarquía, which is located on the east side of the city of Malaga and it borders with the province of Granada. Its warm coastal area extends from the Rincón de la Victoria to Nerja, while its mountain chain reaches Sierra Nevada. Beyond Nerja the mountain joins with the Natural Area of the Cliffs of Maro – Cerro Gordo, while towards the interior there is the Natural Park of Sierra de Alhama, Tejada y Almijara. Moreover it is crossed by numerous rivers of the Mediterranian Andalusian basin. In this area you can find the Pico de la Maroma, Malaga’s highest peach, Nerja and Maro’s marvelous caves and sandy beaches as well as the La Viñuela’s reservoir. Its history and culture have been very well preserved in the Mudejar-origin White Towns.
If you fancy discovering the secrets of the region of La Axarquía, you can enjoy yourself in the touristic Wine routes, the Sun and Avocado route, the Mudejar route, the Raisin route, and the Oil and Mountains route. Moreover, you can practice numerous activities, such as hiking, trekking, mountain cycling, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, and sailing.

Great views of the mountains and sea
The villa was very clean and comfortable and we were able to relax there . The only difficulty we had was finding it in the dark . We were only given GPS coordinates and it is necessary to have the villa Name in order to find it. A photo of entrance would also be helpful .
