H+ Hotel & SPA Friedrichroda
Great breakfast buffet. Nice bar. Excellent spa facilities with indoor pool, 50°/70°/80°/90°C sauna, Serail room, and massage. No A/C can lead to very hot room temperatures on the top floor on a hot summer day. Insufficient parking when hotel is sold out. No obvious option for overflow parking.

AHORN Berghotel Friedrichroda
All good with the hotel, just poor selection of breakfast, for people who do not like continental breakfasts.
