Check in staff member was combative for no reason. I asked if she could extent my stay another night and she said she couldn’t add a second night until the next day after I checked out first and that at that time she would be able to tell me if I could get another night. I said ok, but yet it’s like she wanted an argument with me about it. It was odd. Anyways we checked out the next day and went somewhere else. Other than that the place is clean and nice rooms. She ruined us even wanted to try and stay another night.

This hotel’s location is the only reason we continue to book here. It’s directly next door to my daughter’s apartment, which makes visiting and attending games incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, convenience has been the only consistent positive during our stays. Uncomfortable Beds and Poor-Quality Linens Our first stay was disappointing due to the sheets, which felt like sandpaper. We barely slept. On our second visit, nothing had changed—the same rough sheets and another sleepless night. By the third stay, I brought my own sheets just to make the bed tolerable. However, that didn’t solve the larger issue: the mattresses themselves. They feel worn down and uneven, as if they’ve been handed down from another property. The bed slopes noticeably toward the sides, so if you’re sharing it, both people end up rolling outward. The only way to avoid this is to sleep in the narrow “high point” in the center of the mattress. If you’re traveling as a couple, you may genuinely want to book two queens just to avoid rolling all night. Even with my own sheets on this most recent stay, the mattress was so broken down that I once again struggled to find a comfortable position. Sleep quality has consistently been poor because of the bedding and mattress condition. Rigid Customer Service After another restless night, I requested a modest late checkout—just until 12:15 PM—so I could rest briefly before heading out. The hotel did not appear busy, and several rooms seemed available. Despite

Pro: so clean, still smelled new, very quiet, conveniently close to the freeway but not so close that the freeway noise was apparent. Really great breakfast buffet and extremely friendly staff Con: being nit-picky here, I know. But the motion sensor light in the bathroom is so unnecessary. Comes on in the middle of the night when you use the bathroom and it’s unable to be disabled. Extremely bright light for the middle of the night when you kind of want to stay asleep. Also goes off if your shower is too long and you have to get out of the shower and wave at it to turn it back on. Not a deal breaker but hoping mgmt sees this and reconsiders that switch option.
