Gamlebyen hotell er kjempekoselig, gjennomført innredet i gammel stil. Personalet tok varmt imot meg, og ga inntrykk av å være oppriktig glade i å jobbe der. Frokosten ble servert på Værk, rett rundt hjørnet for hotellet, en enkel, men innbydende buffet i rolig atmosfære. Jeg satte pris på at det ikke var den vanlige køkaoset ved frokosten, men mulighet for å nyte måltidet med lave skuldre.

Gamlebyen Hotell har en helt fantastisk beliggenhet midt i hjertet av Gamlebyen i Fredrikstad. Hotellet oser av sjel og byr på en unik atmosfære hvor man virkelig kjenner historiens nærvær. Rommene er gode og komfortable, og servicen er varm og personlig – man føler seg genuint ivaretatt som gjest. Et opphold her gir både ro, sjarm og en opplevelse utenom det vanlige.
