Absolutely wonderful property! My kids 5 & 3 loved the house, the river and surrounding area. It was so quiet and peaceful here and this home had everything! So much charm! We recommend the otsego lake for more swimming. 11 for a daily pass and 15 minutes up the road. This house was close enough to everything we needed, but also far enough away for serenity. Wonderful vacation!

Although this is near the river, we thought cleaning up some of the weeds in/around the yard may help keep the mosquitoes down. Also, a few newer cooking pans would be great. Otherwise, such a peaceful retreat.

Weekend getaway with my girls!

We needed a place to stay for a weekend while attending a birding event at Hartwick Pines State Park. Emily's home is very warm and welcoming - beautiful location right on the river. Great communication / quick to respond to questions. My only complaint - which is not Emily's fault at all - is the mosquitoes were very bad. Make sure you bring heavy duty repellent. Very charming place - would definitely stay there again.
