“Water’s Edge”: Creek front, Hot Tub, Wifi, Firepit

Please read the the complete property description before booking. We are located in Franklin, NC. There are many vacation homes along Wayah Creek because this is a highly desired vacation area. This is a popular area for hiking, whitewater rafting/kayaking, trout fishing, and gem mining. However, you do have your own private yard, hot tub, and firepit at each cabin. Kick back and relax in this cozy, luxury, two bedroom, two bath cabin located in the Great Smokey Mountains, in Franklin, NC. Motorcycles are welcome! Please message us about the size of your trailer and where to park. We allow one dog per family, leashed whole outside: No pit bulls or other potentially aggressive dogs allowed on the property. Water's Edge" borders Wayah Creek and construction on this home was just finished in November 2022. This is a brand new house located on Wayah Creek. The house is surrounded by majestic mountains, and a wide, cool, rushing creek. It is a flat drive onto the property, no four wheel drive needed. The two queen beds sleep four comfortably, with a sleeper sofa in the den. Extra linens are provided for the sleeper sofa under the bed in the bedroom on the right. The pillows are located in the closet. We stock the creek with rainbow trout every spring so make sure to bring your fishing poles. The property is flat, no four wheel drive needed to get here. The driveway is well lit with dusk to dawn to dawn lighting on tall light poles all the way to the bridge, and solar fence post lighting on your way to the house. Wifi, smart TV, and Directv are provided. The inside is a mixture of modern and rustic architecture, in a peaceful, relaxing setting. This house has grey barn wood ceilings, shiplap walls, new stainless steel appliances, new washer and dryer, pebble stone tiled floor in bathroom showers with tiled walls, rock sinks, glass shower doors, and an electric, ventless, fireplace in the den. Enjoy your evenings by the large fire pit, right on the creek. We have bundled firewood for sale for $8.00/bundle. You can purchase this on your way in by stopping at the small house to the right of the bridge. The firewood is located on the porch, creekside. There is a small antique mailbox located on the wall above the firewood where you leave your cash. Unfortunately, the interior doorways are not wheelchair accessible. We also have other accommodations if you're considering a group or family gathering. A brand new Treehouse/Sky Cabin "Eagle’s Nest", construction just finished in June 2023, one bedroom (king size bed), one bath, washer and dryer, creek front, hot tub, wifi, fire pit, property ID 3476491.
