This large cottage offers on 85 m² an entrance with storage buffet, a large living room, with living room, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. 1 first bedroom with bed of 140 and a large bathroom with walk-in shower of 2 m, washing machine and dryer. A second bedroom equipped with either a double bed of 160 or 2 beds of 80 and a convertible bench, for 2 people. This room has its own bathroom with a large shower, a sink and a toilet, it also has a French window that overlooks the courtyard.
The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this property immediately attracted us for its possibility of creating a guest house in this traditionally renovated old wine farm, with all modern comforts. Within the 'Valley of the Kings', these guest rooms offer a preferential location for the discovery of the heritage of this beautiful region. After your days of visiting the most prestigious castles of the Loire and Cher valleys, your walk along rivers, or back from the Beauval ZOO, you can relax in the heated pool!

Lovely Environment

Everything was as advertised and the owners, Patrick and Sylvie, were very accommodating and very accessible hosts. We had everything that we needed. Unfortunately for us, it was too cool to use the nice pool on the grounds.

Amazing Gite!

Sylvia and Patrick were wonderful to work with. They provided information on shops, restaurants and activities. The property was immaculate and well equipped. It was the perfect location to explore Loire chateaus. Their pool was clean and inviting. What a treat on a hot day after exploring the local sites. We will recommend this property to friends and would stay here again.

Franceuil was wonderful

The stay here was excellent. The only thing missing was a fan. It was so very hot the week of our stay a fan, especially in the bedroom at night would have made all the difference. Our hosts were very hospitable We would recommend a stay here.

Beautiful accommodation

Everywhere was spotless. Sylvie and Patrick were ideal hosts -available for advice on the best restaurants and provided us with numbers for local taxi firms. Local bakery is a 10 minute walk - perfect for a wander out to get croissants for breakfast. Ideal accommodation for 2 couples. Wouln’t hesitate to go back.

Perfect stay!

The property was just as described, maybe better!! Super close to our favourite chateau and easy to drive to other sights. The owner speaks English and French. Very good for anyone disabled as it has a large roll in shower. The shower even has body jets.

We enjoyed the quiet and well equipped house we were in; very comfortable and convenient. Little Chanel, the tiny white dog, came to visit at dinner time, which was a treat. Franceuil is central to many interesting chateaux and cities, and countryside is very pleasant to drive through. Altogether a great choice.

What a treasure this property is! The hosts, Patrick and Sylvie, could not have been kinder and more accommodating. We borrowed bicycles to cycle to Chenonceau, enjoyed our late afternoons by the pool and the accommodation for two couples was perfect ... two spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, a comfortable kitchen with all the amenities and a lovely patio area to enjoy meals together when the weather was nice. The hard work and love that has been put into this property should not be missed. The location in the country , about 20 minutes from Amboise, was a welcome change.. Although there are no restaurants within walking distance it really didn't matter...We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings on the patio sipping wine, and enjoying dinner together. Such a pleasurable stay.

Totale Erholung

Wir haben die Zeit in Francueil sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft kannten wir ja bereits, da wir 2022 bereits zwei Wochen Urlaub dort gemacht haben. Der Pool war eine herrliche Abkühlung. Die Umgebung ist perfekt für geschichtsinteressierte Leute, da viele Schlösser (auch kleinere) in unmittelbarer Nähe sind. Sylvie und Patrick sind tolle Gastgeber. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in der Nähe der Schlösser der Loire

Das Ferienhaus ist Teil einer ruhig gelegenen Hofanlage im Örtchen Francueil, unweit des Flusses Cher. Ein Bäcker und eine Superette mit Metzger finden sich fußläufig im Dorf. Die Gastgeber Sylvie und Patrick (er spricht ein wenig Englisch) sind super freundlich und obwohl sie mit auf dem Grundstück wohnen, nimmt man sie eigentlich nicht wahr, ausser es gibt ein Problem - dann wird dieses umgehend gelöst. Der Pool ist herrlich, man teilt ihn sich aber mit den wechselnden Gästen der ebenfalls vermieteten zwei Chambres d'hôtes auf dem Gelände, was sich aber unkompliziert gestaltet. Das Haus ist bestens und geschmackvoll ausgestattet und war das bisher sauberste Ferienhaus, das ich gesehen habe in 30 Jahren. TV-Sender gibt es nur in französisch, das WLAN lässt aber Streaming über Tablett oder AppleTV gut zu. Wir haben unsere zwei Wochen sehr genossen und wurden zum Abschied sogar noch auf einen Apéro auf der Terrasse eingeladen. Als Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Loiretals kann man das Haus nur empfehlen.

Parfait !!!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce gîte. Décoration avec goût, bien équipé et propre avec une très bonne literie. Le gîte est à proximité de plusieurs châteaux, pour les visites c'est un vrai plus. Encore merci à Patrick et Sylvie pour leur gentillesse et disponibilité.
