The Belmond exceeds expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted and cleansed of any concern. The staff pays attention to detail, accommodating any request. The property is historical and meaningful, encouraging relaxation and a connection with nature. All facilities are within comfortable walking distance and easily accessible. The Belmond, at its best, offers an exceptional breakfast experience-something to look forward to and reminisce. The pool complements the hotels beauty, alongside the animals, who are familiar with the property and curious. However, one improvement the Belmond should consider-the dinner experience at IPE (the smaller restaurant, poolside) did not meet expectations. While the food is amazing, the service was not consistent. Otherwise, excellent destination and a memorable experience. Special thank you to Rodrigo for being very friendly and accommodating at our arrival

This is a beautiful hotel within the National park on the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. The facilities in the hotel are excellent but its main advantage is the fact that you can access the falls on foot before and after the park is open to other visitors so you can avoid the crowds. Watching sunset over the falls with a glass of champagne only steps from our room is something I will never forget.

If you’re going to visit Iguazú Falls, this is the place to stay! The hotel is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The attention to detail and the service is among the best we’ve experienced in other 5-star resorts around the world. We stayed in the Presidential Suite (Princess Diana stayed in this suite) and it had an incredible view of the Iguazú Falls. The swimming pool was one of our favorite places. Thank you for making our stay so very special! We highly recommend this hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel with a great location inside the national park at Iguaçu falls. The staff is bery friendly and accommodating. The restaurants are excellent with unique food options. The Y restaurant is wonderful with tasty and unique meal choices. There is a lot to do and see in the area so i would recommend staying for at least 3-4 days. The hotel transportation is to notch and the guides are outstanding. Our driver/guide was Itamar and he was the best ever. Friendly, humorous an knowlegable!

Super nice hotel has an easy access to Iguazú falls. We can walk to the falls without any other tourists in the morning and at night. Sunset was so beautiful from the trail in front of the hotel.

Wow! From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed, embraced and treated like royalty. The entire staff is incredible, excursions are top notch. Follow-up is immediate. Also, easy access to tours and the views before and after groups arrive are the best at the resort!

Great Views and a First Class Stay!

Everything from the welcome to check-out was first class. Every staff member seemed happy to see you and concerned that you had a great experience. All this plus avoiding the crowds by having the Falls open to you after closing made for a wonderful stay. It was our first visit to a Belmond Hotel and we will look for these in the future!

Showing its age

It was a very average room in need of a major renovation. The staff were mostly friendly and efficient. Our bar waiter, Filipe, was exceptional. On our last night in the hotel, there was a wedding and the service and food quality at dinner both suffered. The previous evening it was excellent. The ONLY reason that this hotel commands such sky-high prices is its location inside the park. The Iguassu Falls are incredible. There are certainly better value for money options to visit them.

Fabulous Belmond

Beautiful hotel in the National Park, steps away from the walk along the river, with fantastic views of Iguasu Falls. Superb breakfast, very comfortable room, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Great choice of dining - one gripe is that we were unexpectedly charged for filtered water at dinner (despite the fact that they freely hand out cans of water throughout the day, and provide 2 big bottles of filtered water at turn-down each night). We were able to catch the free shuttle (they run every 20 mins) to the gates and then a short walk to the Bird Park (the concierge organized our tickets in advance) which was most enjoyable. Hotel thoroughly recommended - not cheap but well worth the splurge!

This property is situated inside the national park across the street from Iguacu Falls. The views are amazing and before 8:30am you have the place to yourself. Truly a slice of heaven!

If you wish to see the Falls privately this is the only way to do it. The views are amazing. The staff and facilities are second to none. The food is absolutely amazing. Pro tip: if you are flying into Argentina airport call the hotel 48 hours in advance and have them arrange your transportation. Getting over the border will take about 15 minutes rather than hours. If you wish to relax this is definitely the place to do it. We are already planning our trip back in 2028.. The Belmont does not disappoint in anyway.

Best place to stay in Iguassu Falls
