Loved the location to the historic stockyards of Fort Worth, wow, what a great location! Disappointed on our first morning that breakfast almost ran out/was slow to refill at 8:30am, despite breakfast being advertised until 9am, so we were certain to be there before 7am the next morning and there wasn’t an issue. Would recommend bringing earplugs for a peaceful night’s sleep, as this location (and, to be fair, all other hotels in the vicinity will have this issue also) are close to freight rail lines, and with trains tooting all night it can be hard to get an uninterrupted sleep. Otherwise, a great location right in the middle of everything and lovely staff.

You absolutely cannot beat the location! The view from our room was directly in front of the Colosseum and you could watch the Cattle Drive from the room. It’s not the fanciest hotel, but the bed was comfy, the room was clean, the water in the shower was hot, and the room was roomy with two dogs and their kennels. It really was a great room for the weekend! We contemplated The Drover but we knew we’d be out of the hotel for the majority of the trip so we just couldn’t justify the ridiculous cost. If you want The Stockyards experience, without the crazy cost of a luxury hotel, meanwhile still staying in a nice hotel, let it be this one!

Great location right in the stockyards! Walk to everything. Rooms are clean but could use some updating, starting to look dated. Staff is excellent! Simple breakfast offered. We arrived 2 hrs before "check in time" and although our rooms were ready we were not allowed to check in without paying a fee. We opted to kill time and check in later. Also don't appreciate having to pay a daily fee to park our car. Especially when the front lot gets vehicles who are not staying in hotel ( no parking tag) filling up spaces as they shop.
