Our stay was wonderful, first of all. We love El Mat. And Hollis was easy and fair! To give a detailed, current account of condo, I would have to say the reasons we gave a 4 and not a 5 are:No bugs.CleanAwesome viewsEverything basic you needed in kitchen aside from no pots big enough to steam crab, and not enough ice cube tray/no ice maker. ICE MACHONE IS ON SITE. Outdated oven just in the sense that it was a coiled electric. No biggie. Suficient, and it cooks. Cabinets cute colors, but could use some update. As an owner, I certainly would rent it as is with the exception of:Neither shower head properly worked. Daughter had to shower in ours. Hands down. Ugh.Sliding doors are very difficult to move. Couldn't really use bedroom one due to this.Lastly, if you do not rent thru El Mat. You have to leave license at the front gate for a key to sauna/hottub and return for your license each time. Bummer. Most importantly, the bed is very uncomfortable in the master. Husband tried couch. Even worse. He chose the futon. So, as an owner, I would certainly want to know these very basic things that would make this 5 stars for us and above. We love this place and had an overall fantastic time. Spent more time outside anyway! Just bring a topper!
