Welcome to “Lighthouse Key” Vacation Rental! House By The Beach!

This beautiful, spacious, totally renovated coastal home is located just a 5 minute walk to Hillsboro Beach/Pompano Beach. We have private access to the beach.

Experience coastal living in this fully renovated four bedroom three bath home. Newly installed hurricane/impact windows. This home features soaring ceilings, luxurious marble tile, elegant stone countertops, recessed lighting, a chef’s kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and white shaker cabinets.

Outside there is a beautifully landscaped yard with artificial turf, ambient outdoor lighting, and a newly installed pool with custom pavers, ideal for relaxation along with a tanning shelf with 2 loungers, 2 umbrellas and BBQ grill.
Enjoy beachside living with private access to Hillsboro Beach just 1/8 mile, only a 5 minute walk. The house is located on a quiet, lush street full of tropical Florida foliage in proximity to waterfront restaurants, tiki bars and shopping.

- Beach gear is provided (beach cart, 3 beach chairs, cooler & a second cooler on wheels). We have a set of "water wings " for small children in the pool.
You will find these in the game room & on the side of the house.
- The start up kit includes some coffee pods, salt, pepper, a few trash bags,
a few dishwasher pods, a few laundry detergent pods, first few rolls of toilet paper and roll of paper towels.

Great House with modern amenities. Can’t beat the short walk to the private beach. Even though a Smoke detector needed a new battery (chirping in the middle of the night) and a few smoke detectors are actually missing we still give the house 5 stars.

A fantastic week in Pompano at this gorgeous modern home. Everything was there, right down to a heated pool (sorely needed in the chilly temps!) Every bed was comfy in a well designed floor plan allowing privacy for each room. The house is located in a charming neighborhood with private access to the beach right down the street. We LOVE this house! The owners were very responsive as well. Highly recommend.

Loved the house and our stay!!!! House was great with high ceilings and large open living room, kitchen and dinning room. We had five and the house accommodated us very well and would accommodate more. All linens were higher end, which we appreciate. Showers were large and great water pressure. Enjoyed both the keurig and drip pot coffee maker every morning and sat by the pool. Pool was nice and was clean. Game room looked nice but we didn't use. It was just a short easy walk to the beach from the house which was great for boat watching as the inland waterway comes out right where we were. We even saw a manatee. House location is perfect for going to Pompano pier area, which is great by the way. We went to the drone show and actually walked back to the house due to traffic. Only 1.4 miles. Exploring West Palm or Ft. Lauderdale, which we did both, is also easy drive from the house.The street the house is located on has other outstanding houses. Felt very safe. Highly recommend and we look forward to hopefully returning. If you like calm and peaceful, open spaces, a pool, privacy and high end finishes and furnishings this house checks all boxes. Tom and Amy

Home was beautifully renovated at one point but has not been well maintained. We had A LOT of maintenance things come up throughout our stay. Most of it was nothing that necessarily required a fix immediately, but are things that haven’t been maintained over time or we were able to fix ourselves (closet door off tracks, bedroom door hinges loose & not allowing door to close, front porch light out, etc). Upon arrival, we noted dirty walls and doors & an extremely dirty floor. I was informed before arrival that there were towels still drying in the dryer. An hour and a half after arrival, I checked them to find an overflowing dryer with towels and bedding still wet. The owner did send the cleaner back out 2 days into our stay to take care of the laundry and clean the surfaces. Our first full day, we also found dog poop & smoked marijuana roaches in the back yard. Two of the smaller bedrooms were extremely hot & stuffy, despite the AC being on. Last but not least, on our last night, we saw a cockroach in one of the closets. There was roach spray under the kitchen sink, so this appears to be an ongoing & known issue. The location was nice & the private beach was a plus, but overall, given the lack of cleanliness and issues we encountered, we would not choose to stay here again. I did message the owner with an extensive list of issues, and she was very receptive, stating they will get them fixed, so hopefully they do.

One of the best we’ve ever stayed at. Great location, close to stores and restaurants, and only 2 blocks from the private beach. Pool is beautiful and well maintained. The backyard is surrounded by lots of trees and vegetation so it feels very private. House is well stocked with all the essentials. This rental checked all the boxes. We would definitely rent this property again!

Perfect Getaway

My family really enjoyed our stay in Pompano. The house accommodations are as perfect as they look in the pictures. Our beds were very comfortable, the showers were amazing, the pool was clean and refreshing, the walk to the beach was easy and peaceful. We lost WIFI for one afternoon and the owners sent people to fix it immediately. The game room was a major hit, we had full playing pool and spending time together. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful quiet home

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Our family of 5 and my parents all stayed comfortably here. Tons of space, beautiful warm pool, close to VERY private beach, crystal clear ocean, with awesome game room. The neighborhood was really nice, upscale, and very quiet.We spent some time getting out and about in the area, longest drive was 1 hour to Everglades. The owners were very responsive on the one very small issue we had and they resolved it right away.

Stunning beautiful home, great location, attentive Owners

This was a family trip to wish my Mom happy 90th birthday. It's difficult to get my two adult daughters and their husbands together for a few days, choosing a location close to my Mom but interesting for the others was important. This house is beautiful having an large open layout, with enough bedrooms and bathrooms so all can have their own space. The house appears to be recently remodeled, so everything clean, new and comfortable. The kitchen is so well stocked as was the bathrooms. The pool is a nice size and outdoor space a great place to hang out.The beach is a couple minute walk through a private gate. We walked to the Pompano pier each day. Very beautiful to be able to do that.The Owners were very attentive communicating with us to make sure all went well. All of us agreed this is a nice home and great place to vacation. Definitely recommended!
