Very loud, pool closed, beware of added charges

The experience was just okay. We were on the 6th floor and the club that is one floor up was extremely loud. Made it very difficult to sleep, the music was bumpin’ until 2:00am. There is also a club next door (next to McDonald’s) that has loud music into the wee hours of the night. I also was charged more than what my bill should have been. The pool was closed, we were never informed before our stay. Props to the valet guys, they were very friendly.

The customer service at this hotel needs help. The front desk agent was unfamiliar with the area, even the shopping center next door and the hotel/casino across the street. When I asked about what’s in the area as far as restaurants, she told me to Google it. There were huge safety concerns when it came to personal information. There system was down and so they collected credit card numbers on a sheet of paper visible to everyone. There was no apology for the inconvenience, in fact they made the customers feel as if they were the problem. I will never stay at this hotel again.

We went to a concert at Hollywood Hard Rock. Hotel was across the street. They had a shuttle to the concert. Room was clean and we loved our view of the guitar. Breakfast was one of the nicest hotel Breakfasts we have had.

It was nice being close to the Hard Rock and the shuttle service was great. The staff was friendly. What we didnt like was the loud music playing in the lobby and the loud bass. The bathroom was absolutely horrible. There are no doors on the shower so the water goes everywhere. The entire bathroom including the walls (all tile) are wet after taking a shower. We had to put towels on the entire floor so that we didnt fall. The sink is so small you cant even use it, and no counter space at all. The back of the building(our view over the smoked glass) is a dumpy neighborhood. The house directly behind us looked like a homeless camp. Also, there is no parking, you have to valet. The hotel is in the McDonalds parking lot.

Convenient location to Hard Rock. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Carlos the valet and shuttle driver is super helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was nice to have, but it was just ok. The property was very clean. We would stay here again, just wish the pool was open.
