The staff was great. When we checked in, for whatever reason, the key cards didn’t work. The young man at the desk programmed two more and went with us to make sure they worked. The hotel was clean and seemed like it had been updated in the last few years. The indoor pool looked clean, people were enjoying it. The outdoor pool was closed for the season. The exercise room was functional and the equipment was in good condition. Breakfast was good and they had plenty of seating for a lot of people. There was plenty of parking. We were unsure of the neighborhood at first as there are a couple of empty old houses across the street, but the rest of the area was fine. It seems like almost all of the hotels have gone to small pillows on the beds. We don’t like that, you roll over and your head goes off the pillow. We brought our own pillows for this trip. The bed was very comfortable. Our room also had a couch, desk and office chair, mini fridge and microwave.

Our room was so dirty that I cleaned it before we even used the toilet or shower. Floors were full of crumbs and dirt. The shower was not even cleaned. The hotel really could use training on how to clean properly. But I guess you get what you pay for.
