We really enjoyed staying at La Rotonda sul Mare. It was the perfect location for our vacation. Amerigo and his staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious and well served. The sun deck over the water was perfect to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We would love to stay there again.

This was our second time visiting Forio and we were so glad we stayed here. The location is amazing and the sun deck is great for watching evening sunsets. The family are welcoming hosts who do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. We can’t wait until our next visit.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer, hat eine Holzterrasse mit Liegestühlen und einen eigenen Zugang zum Meer. Das beschauliche Hotel wird als Familienbetrieb geführt, wo jeder mithilft, damit alle anfallende Aufgaben erledigt werden. Es bietet zwar nicht alle Annehmlichkeiten, aber das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, und kümmert sich sofort um persönliche Anliegen der Gäste. Uns wurde innert kürzester Zeit ein Mietwagen vermittelt. Das Hotelrestaurant öffnet morgens etwas spät. Wenn man früh los will (Wandern, Inseltour), sorgt man besser selbst für die Verpflegung. Am Abend läuft relativ wenig im Hotel und die Bar schliesst dementsprechend früh. Den Gutenacht-Cocktail spätabends genehmigt man sich daher vorzugsweise in der Bar im nahegelegenen Städtchen Forio. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, jedoch teilweise nicht sehr gross. Die Zimmer sind aber auch verhältnismässig günstig gegenüber anderen Hotels in der Umgebung und ist haustierfreundlich. Und bei Urlaub auf Ischia dient das Hotelzimmer ja ohnehin nur zum schlafen und duschen, da es so viel auf dieser Insel zu sehen gibt. Das „La Rotonda Sul Mare“ ist klein aber fein. Uns hat es alles in allem gefallen und wir würden es auch einigen Freunden weiter empfehlen.
