Great setting on top of a 22 story building overlooking the water. Well situated in the best area to be in Follonica. Annoying blinking light from motion sensor (I think) in room keeping us up most of the night. Mai’s room blanket after the first night, why?? Not including breakfast as the cards were not honored at restaurant across the street. Frustrating check in process, does not speak English.

Sammantaget: fint och rent rum med fantastisk utsikt, det negativa är att ankomsten var strulig och svårt att komma in på rum, wifikod sändes på anmodan. Struligheten avhjälptes efter en kort väntan då ’anställd/kompis’ kom och hjälpte oss in med olika koder för tillträde våningsplan och en annan kod för tillträde rum. Får man ordning och en välkomst utan strulighet är verkligen boendet toppen.

Il check-in è stato piuttosto lungo, anche perché non avevo effettuato la procedura online in anticipo: purtroppo non avevo letto bene le istruzioni ricevute. Tuttavia, l’organizzazione si è rivelata comunque molto confusionaria. Gli ospiti sono arrivati tutti insieme e la consegna dei codici di accesso è diventata un’odissea: abbiamo perso più di un’ora solo per queste formalità. Per quanto riguarda il soggiorno, purtroppo è stata una delusione sotto molti aspetti. Di “suite” c’è soltanto il nome: la camera era molto piccola e il bagno estremamente stretto, al punto che si poteva entrare una persona alla volta. La doccia era montata al contrario e ogni utilizzo finiva per allagare il bagno. L’aspetto peggiore, però, è stata senza dubbio la pulizia. Nella doccia c’erano ancora i flaconi usati dagli ospiti precedenti, il WC non era stato pulito (evito i dettagli), nonostante fosse presente il nastro “igienizzato” messo dalla signora delle pulizie. Mancava persino la carta igienica, anche se il gestore si è attivato rapidamente per recuperarla. La struttura si trova in cima a un grattacielo, decisamente poco piacevole anche dal punto di vista ambientale, e non dispone di parcheggio. Nelle vicinanze si trovano soltanto parcheggi a pagamento. Infine, consiglio di lasciare a disposizione una coperta più pesante: quella fornita era troppo leggera e ho dormito con la felpa di mio marito per il freddo. La colazione no comment. Non tornerò e non mi sento di consigliarlo.

Inutile dirvi che il pezzo forte della casa è la vista dalla terrazza, peraltro splendida al nostro soggiorno. Siamo stati molto bene, proprietà sempre presente e disponibile. Unico neo, deve passare un pochino di tempo per arrivare l’acqua calda al 22º piano e pressione autoclave da rivedere. Per il resto tutto molto bello torneremo
