This was a very last minute booking. Luca was very responsive on expedia and assisted with us getting a taxi and giving us a brief history of the building (which is amazing). It is located close to the train station. The room was cosy and great for our 5 month old, and the lift was very handy. The area is safe and very walkable with a variety of dining options. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat!

This property was horrible, falling apart no maintenance, no proper access to the reception area , we had to bang at a door that looked like the medieval times , no one answered . I had to call and let them know you’re trying to get to check in and finally opened the door. The hairdryer looks like a CPAP machine, no toilet paper , no one at the reception , It was one night ( thank God) .. if you book this place book it at your own risk , I don’t understand how Expedia offers this place .. the pictures on web are false advertising…,

The property was really well located 2 minutes walk from the Duomo. Really nice breakfast included in a restaurant next door. There is a small front desk however when we were there there was no one there. We received clear instructions on how to get there and get in. There was a foul odor of drainage during our stay it appears it was a general problem in downtown Florence. Our room smelled also, we contacted the administration and we were moved to a nearby property.

Great location. It’s close the the Firenze SM Novello station & the Duomo with many dining options. But keep in mind it’s on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately check-in instructions were not clear to point that out. After checking in, you can ask for access to use their elevator which was great for me. Our check-in staff, Adriano (?) was awesome. He was very helpful and accommodating to our request. He also gave us a lot of info on what to see and do around the area. Breakfast was included with our stay. We stayed for 3 nights but was only able to use it on the morning we checked out. We thought it was very nice, and wished we could have used it on the two other mornings. The not so good…at first the room seem to be okay, but after settling in we quickly realized it’s not very functional. There was no luggage rack to lay out our luggage. The closet hanger rack was made for a basketball player. You’ll need to be at least 6’, maybe 6’2”, to reach the hanger rack in the closet. The mini fridge in the closet do not cool anymore. The standup shower is really small. There is very little counter space to put your toiletries. There is a strong unpleasant smell in the room; perhaps it’s the cleaning agent the cleaners use to clean the room. It appear to have faded gradually during our stay but it was still somewhat noticeable. Overall I would give it a 3.5/5. Went with 4 cuz of Adriano.

It’s was wonderful- close to everything! Roof terrace had a great view! It’s was an adventure to find it for sure, but if you call them they give great directions and after it is a very nice location close to everything in Florence. Great staff, clean room, enough space for everyone. Loved it! We would stay there again.

What a great place to stay so much charm and history, our room was perfect , modern and very clean, good AC and a very nice roof terrace was perfect one of the best location in Florence 8 minute walk from the train station and 5 to 10 minutes walk to everything you want to see. Breakfast was next door at a partner restaurant was really good best cappuccino we had . When we arrived Mr Luca greeted us with open arms and full of positive energy , showed us around the hotel and made us a map of everything to visit and recommend the best restaurants that we were blown away best food we had in Italy half the price of Venice . Can’t thank him enough for one of the best experience. We are truly grateful.
