Highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel,not far from the main attractions. We stayed following a cruise. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is the best we have experienced at a hotel in Europe. The front desk staff was very helpful, we appreciate the recommendation to download and use the BOLT rideshare App. It was very reliable and saved several dollars compared to Taxi or Viator driver service.

Really good business hotel and clearly plenty of cruise travellers on stop-overs as well. *big* hotel. Super convenient for central Oslo (central station c 5 mins walk). Room spotless with nice views over the city. Good breakfast with good variety of food. Lovely pool and sauna but tricky access up spiral staircases off a main floor (and having to pay extra if you want to borrow a robe to walk through the hotel common areas when using these facilities feels cheap). Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful to have AC in Europe! Breakfast was delicious but packed with people, so be ready for that. It was very handy to be next to the train station as we were only staying two nights and traveling in/out via train.

A nicely appointed room but beware there is demolition happening across the road that will be followed by construction. We were woken at 6.50 am each morning by the external demolition which didn’t finish until 9.15pm and in addition to this the hotel has renovations happening. Despite reception telling us the internal renovations were between the hours of 10 and 4, the drilling started at 8am each morning and could be clearly heard. All odd numbered rooms will be affected by the external construction works for quite some time. Unsure how long the internal renovations will be going on. There was no warning by the hotel of these inconveniences.

Great choice for Oslo

Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Oslo. Easy train from airport to the hotel via Oslo S central station, and walk to the hotel from there. Very central to all main attractions. Highly recommend buying the Oslo Pass that includes public transport and museum admissions. Also recommend you request a room away from the giant construction site across the street. We couldn’t sleep past 7am due to the noise. Not the hotel’s fault, but every room in that hotel should be filled before you put anyone along the construction site view.

The hotel is located near the central station . Unfortunately near the hotel there is a building site that offers a grim view. The staff is amazing though . Special shoutout to Frogdis at reception that is truly a star . She accommodated our requests and was very friendly and professional . The breakfast buffet is crowded and very limited considering the brand Raddison . All in all a good stay .
