Poor.

Riad is lovely and colourful. Room and bathroom very poor, not clean, cold tap missing and no shower head holder. Blanket not clean so was itchy. Windows have bird dropping so smells once opened. Location is not great, deep in the ghetto with multiple alleys-didnt feel safe at night. Breakfast poor, stale bread, mint tea, flavoured orange juice and boiled egg.

No lock on room door

The whole lock had been removed from the door to our room and we were told it would be repaired the next day. Our belongings were then left in the room, open to any other guest or visitor if so inclined. The lock wasn’t repaired and we barely saw the owners. Language was a barrier but that was no fault at all of the owners. Great location though.

Beautiful Peaceful Andalusian Riad

Beautiful Peaceful Andalusian Riad set within the backstreets of the Medina. The Riad is around a 10-15 minuite walk of the Madina, it is very easy to follow this walk after you have done it once. The Riad itself is beautiful as its a very dated property of around 600 years old it has a certain grandeur about it, when your sitting in the lobby relaxing by the pool during the day you cant help but ponder over the predecessors of a property of this size with massive solid wooden doors and huge pillars leading to the main building. The building has a kitchen open all hours for guests to use which is fantastic as you can use the kettle if you buy facilities for a cuppa or the fridge to chill your water or cold drinks etc. The pool is shaded by beautiful green trees and has a couple of resident Tortoises! We spent many hours outside relaxing during the day and at night when the lights lit up the atmospheric garden. The hotel was quiet so we felt comfortable sitting outside with the courtyard to ourselves at night and having the downstairs Jacuzzi room we could sit outside by the pool at night while being able to literally see our little one in room. No taxi driver knows the hotel so be prepared bring the paper work and prepare for a taxi back to the Riad to cost you 20Dirham due to driver getting lost! The downstairs bathroom did smell however this is a problem outside of europe. 5 Min walk to small Masjid Hotel staff friendly and happy to help. Amazing Breakfast!

i can't wait to go back!

It's a very budget riad, but amazing! Don't give if you are looking for 5 star. There isn't soap etc in the rooms. Do go if you want a phenomenal fez experience! The staff goes above and beyond to help. The rooms are clean and comfy. The breakfast was one of the best we had the whole time we were in Morocco!!! Loved it!

Le riad Ă©tait trĂšs beau : belle cour intĂ©rieure et belle terrasse qui donne une vue magnifique sur la ville. La chambre Ă©tait propre et fidĂšle aux photos montrĂ©es. Zacharya Ă©tait trĂšs gentil de son temps et ses conseils, toujours prĂȘt Ă  aider. Bien situĂ©, on peut facilement se rendre Ă  pied aux principales attractions. Je recommande fortement ce riad!

Riad trĂšs bien situĂ© dans le quartier des tanneurs avec une trĂšs belle terrasse mais, - Dommage que la wifi soit inexistante.... - Dommage que la climatisation trĂšs bruyante soit installĂ©e au dessus de la tĂȘte du lit..... - Dommage que la personne qui nous sert le petit dĂ©jeuner ne parle que l arabe.... - Dommage que la propretĂ© laisse Ă  dĂ©sirer.... - Dommage que les gĂ©rants ne prennent pas en consideration nos demandes (WIFI) DOMMAGE CAR IL Y A DU POTENTIEL DANS CE RIAD. Fes est une magnifique ville. Il y a la nouvelle ville a la configuration classique et Fes el bali, la vieille ville, oĂč se trouve les tanneries et qui regorge de boutiques et commerces. L’heritage Al-andalous est tres present. Le dedale de ruelles prete a confusion , il est difficile de s’y retrouver. J’ai sympathisĂ© avec un jeune homme qui travaille dans la tannerie et qui m’a fait visiter la ville, quel chance d’avoir fait sa connaissance... Un gros bemol concernant le Riad Medina. Il s’avere que sous pretexte qu’ils avaient louĂ© le riad complet Ă  une famille j’ai du quitter la chambre. Le gerant Abdul illah ne s’est pas prĂ©sentĂ© pour me donner quelconque explication. C’est la femme chargĂ© de me preparer le petit dejeuner qui a Ă©tĂ© mon interlocutrice. Apres tergiversations elle m’a emmenĂ© dans un autre riad innocupĂ© ou je passe les 2 dernieres nuits de mon sejour, sans wifi ni petit dejeuner. Bref Abdul illah n’est pas quelqu’un de confiance. Je comptais sur lui pour organiser mon depart vers l’aĂ©roport qui doit se faire Ă  4h du matin, j’espĂšre que ça ira..
