The rooms were not bad. The parking lot was well lit, but I was not prepared for the charge of an extra hundred dollars when I got to the hotel after I asked the manager when he asked me the card for incidentals. Was there a deposit to the room he said no because I had paid full price on hotels.com Then the next day I looked at my bank statement and see that they had charged me an extra hundred dollars I talked to the manager. He said he would refund the money but it takes 5 to 6 business days. This would’ve been OK. It had if I had been informed from the beginning but when you make a trip with a limited budget is very hard to wait 5 to 6 business days for a refund if it’s a standard practice, then inform people such not surprise them when they get there that’s very frustrating. Everything falls and rises on communication. If you don’t communicate with your staff with your procedures, then don’t surprise your customers. I was told one thing by one manager, and one thing by another manager a problem that proper communication would have taken care of instead of leading people customers feel frustrated
