Right from check-in, a lovely lady warmly greeted us and very quickly we had our room key and I would point out that hotels could learn from this experience. As our flight was very early the young lady told us about the hotels early breakfast availability which was fantastic. Room was very clean and comfortable. I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again if I was travelling into Bergen. Well done Clarion.

Walking distance to Airport. Less than 10 minutes from lobby to airport departure counters. Staff set aside an airport luggage cart for us since we had a 6:00 am flight. Staff provided very clear walking instructions to the airport departures and the availability of "take-out" breakfast boxes for our early departure. Walkway is about 80% covered and we did have light rain in the morning (remember this is Bergen)!

Great Hotel at the Bergen Airport

My room was very clean and the bath was well equipped with soap, shampoo and lotion. The hotel was very nice. The staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious … more vegan lotions would have been nice. Olaf in the restaurant/bar was very friendly, patient and offered terrific service.

This is very, very convenient to the airport. We had a 6am flight, so we could easily walk. That said, it was VERY expensive, our most expensive hotel of the entire trip by a large margin. I realized that there were a bunch of hotels on the light rail that were a stop or two away (5 minutes) that would have been a much cheaper option. Although they opened the cold breakfast at 4am, there were no real portable options for us to take with us. No paper cups for coffee. No way to take it with us to the airport, so we couldn't take advantage of it. Also, the bathtub was so very narrow and very slippery. Very dangerous for older people in particular. That said, it was a clean and quiet place to stay and easy to get to the airport. it is just too expensive in my opinion.
