Clean room, cute note from housekeeping that made us feel welcome. Comfy bed and pillows, room very spacious. Tasty breakfast -- liked the waffle station, and that they stayed open until 10 am. Would stay again!

Comfortable bed, nice shower. I booked here so i could use the hot tub however this was impossible due to the amount of people. Children hollering and slamming doors in the hall until 11pm but other than this i had a great sleep.

Everything was quite nice except for the breakfast. Paper plates and plastic cutlery both doesn't match the rest of the quality of the hotel. The eggs are frozen baked patties. There was also no ceramic mugs for coffee. I understand the drive to cut down costs, but racing to make it as cheap as possible by removing the need to wash dishes is just offputting.

We were traveling with a pet, and booked here to be in striking distance of downtown Halifax with a short drive. Staff were cheerful and efficient, rooms were clean and up-to-date. We did not use the pool, but many families staying here were enjoying it immensely. We liked having safe places to walk a dog, including a small pocket park diagonal to the hotel, and a nice variety of walkable restaurants (less than 100 meters away!) in the adjacent shopping center. Would definitely stay here again as a base for a Halifax visit.

So many options for breakfast. Cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon, build your own waffles, muffins biscuits, oatmeal. With all the condiments....cranberries, almonds, walnuts, chocolate chips, whipped cream, and so much more...variety of teas, coffee, juices... could not ask for more.

The upholstered furniture in both my room and my daughter's family's room were worn, sun bleached, and stained all over. The carpet in both rooms was coming apart in places. The breakfast zoom was a zoo, with everything running out every couple of minutes. I've had better stays in places tat charge half as much.

Our check in was smooth and very professionally done by Aman. She was courteous and very helpful when we told her we wanted an extra chair as we were travelling with friends, we also asked for a couple of wine glasses and high ball glasses. All were delivered in a timely manner. She gave us and our friends rooms close together. She gave us some recommendations to restaurants. Very impressed with Aman. The buffet breakfast was good. Would def book with Hampton Inn & Suites again on our next trip.

The room was clean, but the toilet in my room was too low and I had a hard time to get up from it because of my bad knees. I love the other room I had on my previous stay. It had a walk in shower and to toilet was higher with a grab bar.

Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and location of the hotel to Lower Sackville where we were visiting our sister who has Alzheimer’s was great for us to taxi there to see her. We have stayed here before ( may have been booked under Sharon Sinnott my sister) and we will be back again.
