Kestrel Barn, Sleeps 10+2 (5 Bedrooms)

Kestrel, named after the kestrels that nest in the trees around the barns. Has a porch which leads through a stable door to an open plan living/dining area with a dining table, 12 chairs, comfortable sofas (one of which is a sofa bed) and a log burner for cold winter evenings. There is a large flat screen TV with freeview, DVD player and surround sound home cinema. There is a fully equipped kitchen with range cooker, microwave oven and washer/dryer plus a large American style fridge freezer for your convenience. There are two en-suite double bedrooms with zip/link option beds on the ground floor and also a separate WC. Upstairs there are two super king sized beds and another spacious zip/link option bedroom. These three bedrooms are easily large enough to place a zed bed into if required which we do supply as well as a travel cot.

3 adjoining pet friendly barns have been sympathetically converted to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation. We provide free wifi, oil fired central heating, range cookers, enclosed and private walled gardens, private parking and built-in barbecues. There are no steps to get into the properties and some double en-suite rooms on the ground floors for those who may struggle with steps. We are happy for pet owners to walk their dogs on leads around the farm where there are great opportunities for bird watching. The barns are situated on the farm itself with views over open countryside and the lovely Sculthorpe Church on the driveway.

Stunning Property!

We have just returned from a fabulous 4 day break in the Kestrel. The house is stunning with everything you can possibly require from a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, clean house for us to make it a home from home. The bedrooms are massive and lovely and private for a couple/family to have time out with their own en-suites. This place would really suit all for some time away. The added access to the function room (very close) give the males some time away playing pool. The local town very close with supermarkets shops pubs and restaurants. We will be back thank you!

Amazing Property close to lots of places to visit.......

9 of us aged 27 - 79 plus dogs have just spent an amazing week in November at Kestrel Barn. Booking was easy. Communication from the owners and their staff was excellent. The few queries we had before staying were answered immediately. I cannot emphasise enough how great this property is. 5 ensuite bedrooms, all with TVs and very spacious. Huge beds that were very comfortable. 2 downstairs bedrooms had wet rooms, easily disabled friendly. Open plan living area with huge kitchen very well equipped. Double oven. Huge dining room table and chairs. The owners have thought of everything. Large enclosed garden. High chairs, extra beds available if needed. Iron, ironing board and hoover available. Loads of storage space. Use of sports' room and gym. Absolutely perfect. Coast nearby as well as stately homes etc. Amenities were all open too. Loved Holkombe Hall and seeing the seals by boat. Loads of pubs nearby and large supermarkets 2 - 3 miles away. Fakenham itself is a lovely market town. We had an amazing holiday!

Should have been in Florida!!

After having our family trip to Florida cancelled due to Covid of course! We decided on a long weekend break in Norfolk and found this gem of accommodation! Fantastic house, well equipped for our family, 2 dogs and a small baby! Love, love, loved it and will certainly recommend and we will return in 2021!

Great property with superb assistance and communication from the owners. House was set up exactly as requested with all equipment for a perfect weekend relaxing with friends, including the hot tub hire for the weekend.

A great location for a family get together
