My daughter and I spent last night at Quality Inn Evanston, WY. Our room was filthy. Walking in our room turned the bottom of my socks black. Trash and items from prior travelers left in place. Deadlock on door did not work. I did not feel safe. When telling staff about these things, they were totally unresponsive; smiled at me and said we did not understand the lock. (Not so! The lock would not engage at all.). When I chatted with a couple in the breakfast room, they felt the same way about their room. Breakfast room filthy also. Wish I could get a refund. It’s unusual for me to complain, but this was unlike anything I have ever encountered.

The price was good; however, to get to the room there was no light outside. The sidewalk was broken so it was hard to get suitcases around. The floor in the room was very dirty. The shower pressure was amazing though!

Did not like having a second building to walk across a big parking lot to breakfast. The power strip was too short didn’t have everything plugged in. There are no cell phone US B or C plug ins I paid a lot more for this one with less, and the last quality and I paid less and got more

The lady who checked me in from my third party vendor. Could not change my 2 nd floor room to a room that accommodated my mother who uses a walker to the 1st floor. She had to call the manager BUT she didn’t tell him that I needed a 1st floor room due to my mother not being able to climb stairs, using a walker. The manager told her to charge me a up charge due to the fact they this hotel could n’t accommodate me. How is it a disabled person has to pay a up charge because you assigned us to a room on the 2nd floor? The room was dirty. The bathroom had blood or stool on the wall. No extra toilet paper or Kleenex. Bed covers had dog hair on them.

The room wasn't even clean! And it smelled. The bed was ok and I liked the shower head. I hated everything else. The fridge was noisy all night and stunk so I didn't dare put anything in it. We had to unplug it so we could sleep. You could hear everyone around you. The walls and floor were so thin! It sucked! The floors were so dirty that I had to clean my feet before getting in bed and that was from day one. We checked out early due to not liking it at all. There was stuff spilled on the floor and never mopped up. The place was very dusty too. If that's a clean room, you need new cleaners. It was gross!

Not worth the price

Don't stay here. Our room was so dirty I had to ask for a vacuum cleaner because cats cause me to get asthma. While vacuuming I found dirt, cat food and hair, a rock hard blueberry muffin, an old water bottle, chap stick, cob webs, and dry beans or something from the floors. The TV didn't work and the hall door doesn't lock. The breakfast was disgusting. My teeth couldn't chew the bagels and I spat out the eggs. I don't think I'll ever stay at a Quality Inn again. The front desk guy gave me a bit of a hard time about having a dog because then they have to deep clean. After that comment I was surprised when I found cat food on an unvacuumed floor. The window had no screen and spiders were everywhere so the window how to stay shut. The fridge made a loud noise, so that had to stay unplugged. Couldn't find the coffee pot. The sheets seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. Someone needs to dust the furniture, scrub the walls and the white stuff off the floors. I suppose they use AI to respond to complaints and don't actually fix anything.

This is a trucker hotel. Not a family establishment. The front desk guy had a mouth like a sailor. He was completely derogatory towards everything and even the hotel company. Stay away from this place.

Low Quality Inn

The room we stayed in was in desperate need of some upgrades. Overall, it was outdated and seemed to be missing outlets that any normal room should have. How it passed a building inspection, I have no clue. Whoever owns this building has no aesthetics. Who put a TV in front of a mirror, and what was with the floor lamp in a corner of the room with no furniture? The extra-long cord for us to trip over was clogging up the few outlets the room had. The bed was great for cuddling with a partner since the mattress felt like it was long overdue for a rotation. I don't know about you, but I can only stand another hot body close to me for so long before I need to escape. Certainly wasn't getting it from the air conditioning; it would sputter on and off, just teasing us with sweet release before plunging us back into our pit of despair. Breakfast would have been enjoyable if it weren't for the tables that were determined to pull the hair off our arms. Good point, the stickiness kept the plates from sliding off the table as we tried to cut our food.
